What that truck is built for fuel economy is not the main concern. There is no truck aerodynamic or not that does heavy haul or logging in the bush grossing over 100,000 lbs getting good fuel mileage

Lindo en verdad el clásico camión de Freightliner,lujo y comodidad para un buen desempeño y operación en el transporte terrestre.solo un pequeño detalle a mi punto de vista,los retrovisores en las puertas laterales de acceso provocan cierta resistencia al aire al desplazarse el camión esto aunado al abrir y cerrarlas continuamente provocan en su estructura interior fracturas,ya que al ser de material plástico estás se dañan severamente causando vibraciones y ruidos a veces molestos al interior del vehículo.si se pudiera mejorar esto sería fabuloso,salió una versión del FLD 120 con retrovisores fijados a la cabina no en las puertas y se nota la diferencia,mi comentario.gracias,un saludo🤗

how can they say this is a severe duty truck when is cab is built of aluminum , instead of welded galvanized steel , so the whole cab could be a one piece , I asked drivers on oilfield that drive this truck , how is it , is it a true severe truck , they just say is like any ordinary freightliner truck they just call it severe duty , as a name badge but after 3 to 6 months on the oilfield is basically an old truck with everything lose or broken inside the cab and all kinds of loose stuff all over , just like any freightliner truck you put on oilfield it breaks down so easily because it is a mistake to put a truck so fragile , that is designed for highway driving only on severe duty or oilfield , is basically junk after six months of oilfield work ,..... I don't understand why they label it severe duty at all !,,,,, in my opinion the best truck for severe duty , or oilfield would have to start with a galvanized steel welded cab , sleeper and cab made of steel and welded together, to make it all a true one piece instead of riveted aluminum cab and sleeper made of many pieces together that get loose overtime ,,,short months for severe duty ! ,,,,and the cab don't need to be large actually if is small even better , because in oilfield the bigger the sleeper the more it moves from side to side or shakes basically , especially with the dirt roads we drive thru ,,, just a compact sleeper to sleep when we are put on standby sometimes the standby is for days , so is nice when you have a sleeper to rest , or when you are making many short loads n get tired is nice to take short naps n not be bother by D.O.T . freightliner trucks are one of the most ergonomic trucks out there to drive, the ease to drive them is nice .... so what we need is to combine a freightliner truck with a mack truck even mack has its downfalls but thats an other story !
