For anyone who doesn't understand: This is specialized hauling for Southern Pride Trucking. Probably jet engines. Light loads and long turn around times. This is how they can get away with the weight of such a big sleeper. They will want a big sleeper and their Harley with them while they wait 4 days somewhere for the freight to be ready to haul. Also they probably make $300k+ per year so they can afford a truck like this.

It's sad that so many people comment thinking they are so knowledgeable about large trucks that they feel they should try to bring the guy down. In reality the only thing shown is ignorance and in several cases stupidity. If you are a truck driver, not glorified steering wheel holder with a CDL ... you know each truck has a purpose. These trucks serve a very specific purpose for very specific customers with very specific demands. The people required to operate under these conditions know what they are doing and get this ... they are very detail oriented and intelligent and cream of the crop or they wouldn't have their career very long. To the gentleman that own the truck ... congratulations! I for one understand the sacrifices that job requires.

@@shustyrackleford_710 I like your troll name lol. BUT, I just pulled off the scale at 114,238lbs- 15'4"- stretched out to 93'. Going from NC. to Arizona. Permits and escort vehicles. Only people that bitch about weight are box fuckers that can't drive to begin with (SWIFT) LOL and I'm fully legal to be on the highway.

@@robbiecook3434 you sound like such a typical loser truck driver You guys all go on about what stupid weight or load it is and permits blah blah nobody gives a fuck, youre all better than swift drivers blah blah blah Good for you dude nobody cares but you I know the owner of swift and used to work for one of his other companies, hes richer than youll ever imagine being haha so it really doesnt matter what you have to say about people who drive for that company

I'm an old fart. Half way thru my 16yr career I switched from Werner to a small, 10-12 rig company. They put me in a W900L with a condo and that astro roof. To me, after 5 yrs in a city cab I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! Till my first 53' into an old warehouse in CA built for 40'rs . It took a bit of getting used to. That being said, I would DIE just to spend a few weeks in that beautiful rig above. I'd wait for days or longer for a load. But while I was waiting oh oh oh. Maybe spend a day or two out on the Harley. Maybe stretch out and watch a little little Dish while momma makes a nice dinner. Who needs a load? Down side of course would be the 10 or 20 grand a month in payments. Oh well, everything has a downside might as well go out comfortably.😁

@@Dr.TJ_Eckleburg LMAO. "gotta find me first". They built it for you to pretty much live in it so you'll just be on the road all the time load after load and down time you'll be god knows where. They give be Dog The Bounty Hunter to find you "somewhere" in the 48 states. They can't repo it if you're in it. They can't repo it if you're there and stop them. Most states say they can't repo if there's any occupant or the other is present. So you can pretty much roll this thing till the wheels fall off. Just don't leave it parked anywhere unattended.

With just a little more thought and engineering, the motorcycle lift could have been designed to not need you to assemble that little ramp before using.
@brownsfan64476 жыл бұрын
Eric DLC you mean just make a basic ramp right? No need for electric motors. All you really need is a flat surface...
