On a similar, yet smaller note, your comment reminded me about a particular dispatch call I got back during my taxi driving days. I was sent to a rural house near Verdi, NV. After loading and backing out of their driveway, one of passengers told that when I stopped to put it in drive, my rear bumper was in CA.

For anyone who doesn't understand: This is specialized hauling for Southern Pride Trucking. Probably jet engines. Light loads and long turn around times. This is how they can get away with the weight of such a big sleeper. They will want a big sleeper and their Harley with them while they wait 4 days somewhere for the freight to be ready to haul. Also they probably make $300k+ per year so they can afford a truck like this.

It's sad that so many people comment thinking they are so knowledgeable about large trucks that they feel they should try to bring the guy down. In reality the only thing shown is ignorance and in several cases stupidity. If you are a truck driver, not glorified steering wheel holder with a CDL ... you know each truck has a purpose. These trucks serve a very specific purpose for very specific customers with very specific demands. The people required to operate under these conditions know what they are doing and get this ... they are very detail oriented and intelligent and cream of the crop or they wouldn't have their career very long. To the gentleman that own the truck ... congratulations! I for one understand the sacrifices that job requires.

Unfortunately, your intelligence level, or lack there of, shows you have a comprehension block. That initial statement addresses both those who are truck drivers as well as those that are not. I'm an old fart. Half way thru my 16yr career I switched from Werner to a small, 10-12 rig company. They put me in a W900L with a condo and that astro roof. To me, after 5 yrs in a city cab I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! Till my first 53' into an old warehouse in CA built for 40'rs . It took a bit of getting used to. That being said, I would DIE just to spend a few weeks in that beautiful rig above. I'd wait for days or longer for a load. But while I was waiting oh oh oh. Maybe spend a day or two out on the Harley. Maybe stretch out and watch a little little Dish while momma makes a nice dinner. Who needs a load? Down side of course would be the 10 or 20 grand a month in payments. Oh well, everything has a downside might as well go out comfortably.😁

Nice and impressive on the outside but the interior looks like my grandmothers house, its not what I expected.

It looks pretty good to me. That expensive quilt and those lace curtains are not exactly the easiest to find. I think Carrara marble and a crystal chandelier would be out of place, and maybe he and his wife don't feel like putting up a disco ball, stripper pole, and stage lights with a DJ booth.

People should just google Southern Pride Trucking and most of all your questions would be answered on what it hauls where it hauls. When you're hauling G.E and Rolls Royce jet Engines you don't got to loading docks and that's all high dollar freight

Beautiful ride. If my guess is right there's 27 ft of cab/sleeper/Garage/shed. In that truck. About 35 ft long bumper to bumper. 48ft RGN -6 ft It's only 29+48= 72 ft long. I've not seen this one but Southern Pride runs in and out of Cincinnati allot.
