This was a great install. Everything done properly. Not all glass shops follow proper instructions like this video so make sure to go to someone that has a good reputation. Also request manufacturer glass. It is held to much higher quality standards.

Thanks for the video! I just had my windshield replaced and didn't remember there being a "huge" gap between the glass and the a pillars. Sure enough, there is. I just never inspected the original windshield.

I’ve had my Honda Civic windshield replaced once already due to distortion. The second one has it too. I had the service manager to look at the other cars on the lot and he said they are all like that. Now I’m considering a aftermarket windshield. It’s about a inch from the bottom and makes everything out of focus.

It depends. If the mouldings looks good, then you can still use it. If not, then I would recommend changing it.

I have the same model and same year car. It’s Honda Civic touring 2017. My cars windshield just got cracked and called the dealership and they are saying $1200-$1400 to replace a new one. I think that’s too much for the windshield. What should I do? Is there any better option and that price is fair?

Do you think I need to recalibrate my cam sensors if I install an aftermarket windshield on a 2019 Accord? I am picking one up in a few days through a buddy of mine and I was wondering if it is always necessary to take it to the dealer for recalibration. I'm wonder if there is a way to avoid any error messages that may occur?

Is advisable for you to go with a dealer windshield for a 2019 Accord. Most of the aftermarket windshield for your Accord requires calibration after installation.

Is not that you can only replace with oem but I prefer using dealer windshields for these cars .... the aftermarket works but the chance of re calibrating it after is done is higher than the dealer part

Good question. Anytime you mess with the camera and install new windshield it will need recalibration.

Here are the Honda Part Numbers. Left Clip, Cowl Top: 90667-TBA-A01. Right Clip, Cowl Top: 90617-TBA-A01. I just bought a used 2019 Honda Civic LX last month and was missing one. Bought a replacement from eBay that should be coming soon. Took a while to figure out the name and part number.
