I had a 2004 FX35 and I really liked the aggressive fish face!

I general like your reviews, though this interior and media system had significant issues. Not having CarPlay is a huge downside 3 out of five stars max. The engine is loud!

Sam...love your reviews...especially your honesty such as the start/stop option..please don't ever change...question..you mentioned having driven both MB models along with the Infinity...did you notice the same build issues on the MB twins as you did with the Q30? Keep up the great work.

The Mercedes-Benz and Infiniti twins are actually manufactured in different plants and countries. The Infiniti comes from the UK, the Mercedes-Benz(s) from Hungary, Germany, Thailand and China depending on the market and model.

Those panel gaps look like the ones on my 2012 Ford Focus.

Let's call this thing what it truly is..........a hatchback. Just like it's competitor, the Mercedes GLA. These cars are only marketed as SUV's because most Americans are hatchback phobic. I will never understand why many Americans hate hatches and wagons so much, but if you take the same car, lift it and call it an SUV, Americans buy it in droves. 👎

Colin Robson 1 second ago Bollocks, this little traction demon will run rings around all of the above when winters snow and ice gets well below freezing in the North American winter, which is alien to these so stupid British comments. Check out a few snow circuit hill tests instead of this winding Arizona desert scape. I for one believe in car engines cutting out while standing still in traffic, for obvious reasons, it's a great idea and needs to be compulsory to help stop pollution. This speed demon should not be allowed to test AWD cars as he has no clue what they're intended for.

I am thinking what in the world are you suppose to do if you have a flat tire since you don`t have a spare tire

Hope the fix-a-flat kit works. If it doesn't, call a tow truck.

I like Infiniti's latest design formula especially the front end styling . However, QX30S is too small and there are too many better choices out there in an SUV at this price point. Acura RDX, Lexus NX, Kia Sorento SX V6, Subaru Outback 3.6R , even Infiniti's own QX50 in the base model is in the mid $30's and is well equipped. I would take any of them over the QX30S. I know not all of these are luxury models but better is better.

I would not buy it, but I do not think it is ugly either.

I don't know. $43k for a front wheel drive 4 banger, that's to fat and slow to be a hot hatch, and not capable enough to be a SUV... It's not my cup of tea. I know that's why they call it a "crossover" but I just don't like the segment. It always seemed like a lame excuse badge slapped on poorly executed SUV's, that can't get your through the ruff stuff.
