2017 Insignia B, 2 litre Diesel, Oil Change and Oil Warning Reset

This is a five minute video of me changing my oil in my Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 2017 Diesel Hatchback and resetting the Service/Oil Change warning.
The oil was fully synthetic 5w30 (5 Litres) and the filter was about £6.
If you struggle with the Oil Life not changing to 100% when you press the Tick button, chances are you have the engine running. See section of video where you need to hold the start button for 6 seconds to get the engine electrics on without starting the motor.

Cheers mate, a 15 mm socket fits also on the oil plug. Can I use this instead of a torx to loosen it or would I damage anything?

Socket is just as good as a Torx. Give it a go!!

Where did you place the axel stands ?

Yep, I'm not sure exactly where the axle stands should be placed but I looked in the manual and found nothing so I chose a part of the underside that looked like it has been used in the past. See if you can get further info from someone in the know before you copy me and push the floor into the car.. Best to make 100% certain that you are safe at all times. If in doubt ask a professional mechanic mate. THanks and good luck.
