Why the hell would you guys not torque those bolts

Not only torque,they needed new bolts,they are some flimsy ass aluminum bolts that looks like one time use only

Hi, thanks a lot for the video ! I have a question, this 2017 Jetta is relatively young, how come it already needed new engine/trans mount ? how many miles ? I have a 2015 Jetta with only 28000 miles (45000km) and the engine is shaking when in neutral of park only, I believe new mounts will solve the issue but I am skeptical since the car is relatively recent and didn't drive much.

I have 185,000km on my 2016 TSI and I'll be replacing this today after I'm done work. I'd consider it extremely unusual for a mount to be bad at 40,000km area

The mount design in these vehicles is definitely lacking , especially the upper trans mount

I always recommend new bolts and hardware. Sometimes the client doesn’t want to pay for new bolts

Very bad work. You forgot to replace the bolts. They are stretch bolts. The bolts were not tightened with torque.
