Sweet, man. $18,900 (let's call it $20,000 out the door) for a bike of this caliber is really not that bad when you consider what you are getting. And it's a bike that even big guys like me can actually get on! I especially like that. I can't even get on a Panigale. I tried once - I had to go to the chiropractor afterward! If I were in the market for a superbike/track weapon this might be the one. Way more bike than I would ever need, but you want one anyway because they are so darn cool!

Nice review, Adam. Good to see some PIR action too. This bike with discount is THE BEST DEAL in the literbike class. Sadly the roads in Oregon are so messed up after the last rough winter, often putting canyon carving riders on questionable surfaces...

Excelente review.... This one or the R1M?
@RidersDomain7 жыл бұрын
Hi Jorec - great question. Really comes down to what you value and or price. What are you looking for in a liter-class sportbike?
@vasanttes2877 жыл бұрын
Riders Domain I'm just looking perfomance...best track times.
@RidersDomain7 жыл бұрын
Hi Jorec - this is a really great question. Would be a fantastic comparison too. Stock for stock, it's really going to come down to what circuit you're riding at. If you're at a fast track the Ninja will do well because of its smooth, top-end biased powerband, and gentle rear suspension that puts power to the pavement in a exceptionally smooth fashion. It can also pour into a turn like no other. So if you have deep, leaned over braking zones-- the Ninja will excel here. On the other hand if you are riding at a tighter circuit with shorter acceleration and braking zones the YZF-R1M will perform admirably in these conditions. The R1M is good in the fast stuff, too-- but it won't be able to exploit its quick steering and side-to-side handling advantage. Again, great question - thanks for the comment and for watching.

Riders Domain Thanks very much adam But I'll go for the R1 For me is a best superbike best track times and that crossplane engine give me the power since 3000 rpm. like a V twin engine.
@RidersDomain7 жыл бұрын
Yeah solid choice. It is the more versatile option amongst the two. And yes, it does feel sorta like a V-Twin at low rpm.

This ok for a first bike?
@RidersDomain7 жыл бұрын
Hi Rslax, you certainly could ride it as a first motorcycle, especially in 'low' power mode, but a better option might be something along the lines of a Z650 ABS or Ninja 650R. We've test ridden both. Review our article & videos to find out more: Z650: www.ridersdomain.com/magazine/motorcycles/reviews/2017-kawasaki-z650-motorcycle-review/ Ninja 650: www.ridersdomain.com/magazine/motorcycles/reviews/2017-kawasaki-ninja-650-first-test/

19K for this thing its not even close to a R1M suspension wise. And that dash is bogus. Yamaha got it right with their current R1 models. But if your tts all the ZX 10 line is better fit just ignore the dash. LOL

Japanese bikes always put their bikes together very well in terms of mechanics but it looks way too old school. Yamaha has gotten much better with its r1m And fz10. Everyone else seems to be stuck in the 90s.
