thankyou and yea i really do like the white one i was considering trying to order the white one but this krt scheme has grown on me a lot but yea dude shes gonna be nasty with that full system i just did the slip on. You are probably gonna want to get that brocks clutch mod for it the clutch springs on these bikes are pretty weak from the factory and if you are going to be doing any street racing you will probably feel some clutch slipage. After i did the clutch cusion and spring kit on mine it bites so dam hard and u dont even have to try to wheelie it just barely pop the clutch and its up haha

Nick 636n8r is this a full system or just a slip on with the cat removed. Cuz I just bought a 2017, and I know this 16 and 17 and I think the 15 come with titanium headers from the factory

i just got the slip on but you are correct they do come with titanium headers and luckily they are catless headers i believe with the gen5's they put the cat in that big metal box in between the header and the muffler unlike my 2015 636 i had the cat was actually in the header and i had to beat it out with a chisel so luckily when you remove the stock exhaust and put this slip on its essentially like a full system, sure you would probably get a little more performance if you got brocks headers but idk if it would be really worth it to be honest

around 4500 to 5500 rpm i think what is where down shift at with no surge. p.s is u getting flame out ur exhaust smog block off stops that it the emissions crap put a staple in the smog unit with electric tape no errors.

i actually do get flames out the exhaust and yea i havent done the block off plates but i did use the plug that came with the exhaust you basically just plug the tube that goes from the airbox to the pair valves apparently it does the same thing but i still get blue flames i actually kind of like it, it doesnt have that annoying pop like every time i let off the gas tho so it seems to be doing its job

I like that bike but I sat on it and compared it to the '17 R1 and the Zx10r feels huge.. Also when tucked the windscreen didn't feel like it would do much for wind. Whereas the R1 windscreen is taller and I feel it would do a better job and that thing is the same size and feels just like a 600. I will say the R1 seat is terrible though it's like sitting on concrete, the zx10's seat feels much better. Love both of the bikes but I think the R1 is more of a track bike and not the street cause it's soo stiff. Wanted to purchase one of the 2 bikes in the future but still undecided on which one I want lol

thanks man and the clutch mod is on the brocks performance website i put the clutch mod and clutch cushion kit it basically comes with an aluminum ring that goes at the back of the clutch pack and you remove 1 of your fibers it also comes with heavy duty clutch springs and the clutch mod is the slipper clutch delete it basically just keeps your clutch from slipping at all and lets the bike launch a lot better and when u are doing pulls it is a lot more snappy i would recomend everyone doing that clutch mod before they start street racing or drag racing it because u will burn up the clutch the stock springs are weak af

Hey man correct me if I'm wrong but I have the 16zx10r and I've read using auto shifter at low rpms is bad because the clutch only engages full at high rpms! Might be wrong but be careful incase!

yea thats kinda what i figured so i really try not to do it at all till the higher rev range im sure it aint good on your transmission especially if you do the brocks clutch mod and get rid of the slipper clutch because theres no way for it to give as much so its probably even worse on it i would imagine the auto blip clutchless downshift is the same way i try to avoid doing it unless im coming down from high revs

thanks i appreciate it and naa it wasnt too bad u can definitely do it yourself once u learn how the tank and fairings come off u will have no issues with it. You basically take the main seat off then take the little side pieces off of the tank and then the top tank plastic then lift the tank prop it up and unscrew the airbox lid there is a screw basically right in the center of the airbox i didnt find it till i looked up a tutorial on how to get it off its kind of hidden lol. The secondary fuel injectors are built into the airbox lid but there is enough slack on all the hoses and wires to where u can lift the lid without disconnecting that stuff

Have you tried getting a quote from progressive on this bad boy? It may be cheaper. Only thing about the zx10 is I cant use my ram stem mount for my phone on the zx10 lol because of the dampener xD

yea they actually wanted wayyyy more lol it was ridiculous but actually u can totally use the stem mount i have mine on i should make a video about it, you have to unbolt one side of the dampener to access it and you also have to grind down some of the metal on the under side of the ball of the stem mount so it will go all the way into the triple tree tube and sit as flush as possible that way the dampener doesnt rub against it, it works perfect. Thanks for the video idea lol ill have to do that soon.

nice and yea my driving record was perfect i drive a company vehicle for work so i gotta watch what i do i recently got a ticket which could have been really bad and added a point on my license but i took the online class to get it off so my insurance stayed the same rate luckily but yea man it sucks having to finance something and building your credit takes time but ive learned its definitely better to pay as much as you can up front because they really fuck you over in the long run with financing and yea bro shit as long as u got a bike that runs good is all that matters my first and second bike i paid cash i still have my stunt bike which was the second then i financed the 15 636 and traded it in for the 10 but the stunt bike still running strong shes a good one.

naa i actually took the bike down there to him and had it put on the dyno he flashed and tuned it right there best way to go if u are close to a dyno and they are a reputable tuner because all bikes are different and different climates also affect the way the bike performs so its best to get it on a dyno get that custom tune

what i did with mine is i used the metal tag bracket and bought some L brackets from lowes and just bolted it back to the stock bolt holes i might get a better one some day that sits more flush with the tail but it works pretty good and also for the tail light you should check out moto dynamics thats the one i got and i love it

i actually am a good ways im up near gainesville and ocala area i really love the tampa area would like to live down there im probably going to be taking my bike down there soon to get the recall work done at moramoto i believe is the name i heard their service department is very qualified, idk if you know but they did a recall on the gearbox of these zx10's you can look on kawi's site to see if your vin number is one
