I've recently bought one of these and I must say, when it will be time for a bigger and meaner bike, I most likely would not trade this one in. It's a beauty!

Hmm, I'm actually considering downgrading from a 2017 Kawasaki Z1000SX. I went from a Hayabusa (1300cc almost 200 hp rocket), and was so underwhelmed. After owning a Hayabusa, nothing else will ever be fast enough (had to sell it because I have problems with my wrists). So I have to look at other things than speed, and for some reason I keep coming back to this one in my head. I have tried it once, and it was easy to ride and I really like the parallell twin setup. It's not very common, which means you get a different sound than all the Harley riders out there with their exaggerated loud pipes. I might actually have my dealer sell my Z1000SX and then buy a new one of these. So what are the negatives of this bike, since you have owned one for a while?

Currently checking out vlogs and reviews about this type of Vulcan. This video gave me a lot intell and personal opinions always matter more to me then a written review on a site. Here you can see and hear a person speaking about the bike and you actually feel like you are standing with him. Great review mate. I currently own a Kawasaki Vulcan 750 from '89. It still runs perfect, however i'm looking for something to ride on a daily basis that still is comfy while also being great to handle and ride. Speed is not my thing (yet, one day i might have to decide between the Z900 and the Vulcan S). The optional saddle bags or cases are actually handy, to put stuff in to take with you to work or wherever you go to ride. My father previously owned the Vulcan 750 since purchase back in 94. So it's in the family for quite some time now. He got himself a Harley Ultra Electra Glide few years ago however. As much as i like Harley bikes, besides the Street Rod and Street 750, they are quite expensive in my opnion. Hell, you can buy cars for those prices :p. So i'm looking more at Kawasaki Vulcan S, or the Z900 for my next motor. Still looking around though. Great video. I subscribed and i look foward to more content! Grtz from Belgium.

I love my 2015 Vulcan. Just got one a few weeks ago and having fun. The V star 1100 had to go. Just a tip for my 5"6 ers, ride it before picking the seat. I had the smaller seat first and had it replaced with the mid size seat. cool presentation M.Rider.

I've been wanting a more comfortable bike for some mild travelling. Vulcan S is one of the options on my radar, little leery of the forward controls though, simply because I've never rode a bike with them (standards and years of sport bikes). Would have to try to find a demo ride to see how it fits my aging 185 cm frame. It will feel a bit strange at first I'm sure, but most interested in the long haul comfort as the kilometers and the day go by.

I know that I am writing into an older review but I have some questions. You say that the motorcycles coming into Australia are restricted. What is that. As a 66 year old Australian rider I want what I am paying for and this does not mean restricted anything. I currently own a Yamaha 650 V Star but it is getting too heavy for me now. I was hoping to buy one of these Vulcan S but if they are restricted then I do NOT want one.
@allenadams29706 жыл бұрын
The power is restricted, but, it is so simple to reverse the restriction. Just Google something like unrestrict the Vulcan s or get more power out of the Vulcan s. You just remove a jumper plug. Very easy.
@7316bobe6 жыл бұрын
@@allenadams2970 Thank you I will check it out and see how I go.
@AussieKawiman6 жыл бұрын
When you buy one just ask us to derestrict it.No problems to do will just be registered as a full power model.Great bike either way and heaps more power than an XVS 650,even when it is restricted.Cheers mate enjoy the new ride👍

I am confused by the Kawasaki Vulcan S colors by year. I think Thailand is a year behind everyone else. I was shown an Orange Vulcan S and told it was a 2015 by one shop and 2016 by another. I was told I could not get an all black Vulcan S in 2017. How can I be sure?
@AussieKawiman7 жыл бұрын
We in Australia have a 2017/18 in Matt Black and also the SE in a black / Cream inserts and red strip, Looks a bit different but is selling well, The Orange was a 2015 in Aust, We also had a Purple that looked a bit gay but sold well.Are pretty hard to find on the used market yet as people seem to be hanging onto them as they are good for learners and experienced riders alike, Thanks for watching, Enjoy.
