www.motorbeam.com gives its first look impression of the 2017 KTM Duke range which comprises of the Duke 200, Duke 250 and Duke 390. While the Duke 200 gets minimal changes, the Duke 390 has been comprehensively updated and the Duke 250 is an all new model for the Indian market.
KTM has retained the price of the Duke 200 while slotting the Duke 250 right between the Duke 200 and Duke 390. The Duke 390 is the flagship KTM Duke for India and is now costlier by Rs. 30,000/-. While these motorcycles might not return the best mileage in their segment, they offer riding thrill.

for 30000 extra 250 duke has new styling, slipper clutch, bigger front disc,side new exhaust,50cc extra, and showroom guy told me that 250 duke has metal tank.this much stuff for 30k extra is awesome but now if I think in another way now I think 200 duke has none of these things and feels really over priced.

How good is the ergonomics of the D250? Will it be good for daily 70KM trips without back or wrist pains? Also, how good is the pillion seat, would it be good for occasional family riding purposes? (Pillion riding was almost impossible on the D200 with its bad/hard seat and stiff suspension)

As an owner of it for 5 years , It is clearly better than most of its bike in it's segment and it is widely considered as one of the best touring bike in india. So please get your facts right and then reply. And btw it is amazingly fast too with a responsive and highly refined engine. And i guess you are one of those ktm fanboys in india.xD 😂😂
