Nice review... You're right about needing a refresh. This 2017 is too much like our 2013 SLK (red, and bengal red int). The menus, and CarPlay are not on ours, but If I climbed in the new one I wouldn't immediately notice the difference from our 4 year old version. Still, it's a car, and a design that wears well. What I would do is wait a couple years, and buy this car "gently" used. I'm not sure if I like the smoother, softer body lines, but Mercedes does this from time to time... They use sharp angles, and edges, and then soften them. I'm sure this will grow on me. This car has only gotten better through the years, IMO, and with heated seats, and neck warming "scarf" it is just a joy for the casual drive, (top down, or top up), well into the winter months.

Cameron, I honestly forgot about the SLK (Now SLC). I like that shift lever. That is nicer than the column stalk they use.
