He had the inside line, so he has the right to the racing line, which he took. I see a lot of people complain about that cartain move, but it's a fair one. This is one thing I hate about F1, Fernando was the only one to try and defend his position going into T1. The other drivers just stayed on the outside, giving the overtaking car the inside, making it real easy for them. If Grosjean would have defended and taken the inside line, this wouldn't have happened.

They should have the one who qualifies first start last. They can have points for qualifying as well as race. Person who qualifies first gets 25 points and starts last. That way the fastest car also has the most drive and ability to overtake. Person who wins the race gets 25 points. Guy who qualifies first starts last but finishes first gets 50 points. a huge plus for the championship. Everyone would want to show their best abilities. Then we would surely know who is the best driver.

Stoffel has lots of potantial. He could be one of the best new drivers in the grid when compare to Palmer, Stroll and Kvayt. No stupid move, no crash, have a steady performance.....Not bad!

Someone needs to tell Alonso to leave some fucking space rather than just force the other car off track. The runoff areas are just an encouragement for Alonso to keep pushing people off track. He is also the most vocal when someone does the same to him, always complaining how others should get penalties.

Unfortunately, driving a McLaren he has no choice but to outbreak the other car. With the topspeed they have both Stoffel and Fernando have to take some risks, even if the got penalized. Alonso is known to be very fair on the track and has after all these years probably just a bunch accidents with other cars where he is at fault.

+Fernando Forlan Yep it's true his main overtaking chances appear in the braking zone. But that isn't really an excuse for this driving style. Then again, almost every driver does this, excluding maybe Saubers and Vandoorne. The problem with Alonso being that he does this on regular basis to others and once someone does this to him, he is the one shouting at the radio for penalties. I've grown to hate Alonso, he acts like he can do whatever he wants (signature move is pushing people of the track), and then demand the stewards to hand him positions back (this race wasn't the first time he did that). Playboy 51 Grosjean pulled a Verstappen... overreacted to being a little bit too close to the other driver, and just took the easy way out. Blatantly cutting the corner. As I said in the Verstappen incident, you just can't do that, no matter what the circumstances, and if you do, you should give the position back, and have a fair fight out of pure sportsmanship, even if the race officials dont care. He deserved to be forced off the second time, imo.

James Shives its not quite the same as the verstappen incident tho.. As grosjean clearly lost his position and then just skipped the corner. Verstappen cut the track (in distance gained) by maybe a couple of meters, but he would have passed the ferrari anyway if it was possible to stay on the track, where grosjean lost position and then regained it by cutting the track
