2017 Nissan Pathfinder - CVT -Transfer case failed!!!!

So about 2 weeks ago the magnetic coupler went ,$2300 cad later they tell us the Transfer case is cooked as well now $4000 +. Warranty ran out in June this year .So not being made of money drove it home and parked it. Revisit this next year spring time maybe??

Ford had severe issues with their transfer cases. Almost inevitably they’d fail within the first 40k miles. The only known cure was transfer case gear oil changes every 15k miles in hot climates such as the climate in the southern United States. Had you ever changed your transfer case gear oil?

Hey ,We live in a colder climate ,Southern British Colombia .So summer hot then the drop down to the cold in winter.We had the oil done when we bought this at 35,000km .When the mechanics at the shop looked at it , Said the Transfer case was way over full .So someone didn't no what they we're doing at one time .We've had it 4 years without any problems ,And of course just out of warranty when it happened .The Pathfinder of this year and around it have known breakdown of the transfer case .Nissan in town here will install a used one for us ,Just being trying to get one with low Km's at the moment .I'm hoping next year we can get it fixed ,Then i think we are sell it .
