I have ‘13 jx35 with bad variator pulleys and chain causing severe judder and code P17f0 (replace trans). I followed your steps to get subframe out……perfect. Then i was able to drop trans side enough to remove variator cover then variator and chain. Getting ready for install now. I’m impressed with your skills with your tools. Helped me a lot….Thanks.

thank god this video was here, my qx60 has 118k miles on factory axles, the axle u heated was so bad on mine that I had to cut it off and press it. bought the axle just in case 😂. thank you big help

Thanks for the video, got a question for you. My wife's 2015 Nissan Murano has the same transmission and transfer case. It's leaking transmission fluid internally into the transfer case, which then leaks out of the transfer case from the passenger axle seal. I'll be pulling the transfer case to reseal it soon. My question is - are there any seals at the transmission output that need to be changed as well? Or are there only seals on the transfer case side of things?

Actually she's got 118000 miles on it, running good but the check engine light come on and the local mechanic said it threw codes po420 3-way catalyst and p17fo cvt judder. He doesn't do that kind of work. Just bought it, think I've been had. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet being that it's still running ok. What would ya say to that???

It will need programmed and around five grand
