2017 Range Rover Evoque Electric Parking Brake Disable

Demonstration of the 2017 Evoque Owner's Manual method for disabling the Electric Parking Brake (EPB). This will disable the EPB only until you restart the vehicle. It appears that Land Rover has removed the ability on the 2017 to enter Service Mode where you can disable the EPB and it will remain disabled even when driving the car around. Perhaps Land Rover sees that as a safety risk and so has now provided instructions in the Owners Manual to disable the EPB until the engine is again started. This allows you to service the rear brakes safely with no fear of the EPB engaging. Just stay the heck away from the Start/Stop (ignition) button and the EPB will remain disengaged for an indefinite amount of time.
