A lot of the teams are going to switch to the Super Ute class, and with the delay of Super Utes until next year I bet some of the teams couldn't justify the costs of racing existing V8 Utes and simultaneously building new trucks.

We don't have Utes here in the states but I really like them. I've been thinking about converting my 96 Buick Roadmaster sedan into a Ute. I think it would be better to use a station wagon/estate car though.

Well, I beg to differ y'all.. Utes are recreational vechils. a automobile with a large cargo compartment the the appibility of carrying many things and the cargo compartment itself being converted into many things... There recreational vechicles / trucks :).And then the v8 superutes.. A recreational representative speeder! :)... I think there awesome! :), I wonder if there will have Chevy V8 superutes in the near future :)

It was put together pretty last minute after the SuperUtes was delayed to 2018 so I'm sure some of the teams weren't really ready for the series to get going again and since it was non-championship other guys probably didn't think the costs were worth what was looking like to be 2 non-championship rounds
