The 17 is deleted and tuned. The 20 has some monster tq with the extra gears it really splits the power band making it more of the ideal rpm throughout its entire range.

You guys must not know shit about diesel drag racing. You have to run them in 4wd. Even on the street with stock trucks there is a huge difference between running it in 2x4 and 4x4

I've owned a 2017 f350 srw and now a 2020 f250 srw and I can promise you, the torque management system on the 2017 was horrible. You had to let off the pedal in 4th then when the torque management went off in 5th gear it would pull you back in your seat. Now having said that, you put a stock hp tune on that deleted 2017 and I promise you the 2020 would spank the living shit out of it
