- Modification (Engine) 1.6 TDI (115 Hp) BMT 7DSG
- Power 115 hp/3250-4000 rpm.
- Maximum speed 200 km/h (125 mph)
- Acceleration 0 - 100 km/h (0-62 mph) 10.7 sec
- Torque 250 Nm/1500-3200 rpm.

Hello. Good video. I have same car but manual instead of DSG and not variant version. My average consumption in highway at 120km/h is arround 4.6L/100km very similar to my old Seat 1.9Tdi 100hp.

D7 2500rpm 130kph @5.7-6L/100km consumption? Is that uphill? Small engine big consumption... My '08 Octavia 1.9tdi in 5th gear at 130khp has around 4.5-5L/100km on straight road.

DrivingPOVz Ps: if I may, I'd like to give you an advice for future videos: take a photo/video with the exterior of the car and put in clip's detalis the road where the car is driven, using google maps... Good luck.😁

DrivingPOVz nice video, but that's not what I was recomanding. I was thinking at a short ext clip before the fuel test. To show to the viewer the car, what wheels it got (size,alu or steel...),diferent details...etc

consumption are basically same or even higher then those of Mercedes S class with 286hp diesel engine

Yeah, contrary to popular belief, the higher displacement engine won't always have a bigger fuel consumption. That powerful v6 can run at very low rpm in such cruising, and the S-class has excellent aerodynamics, so it gets comparable fuel economy to this golf, despite being almost twice heavier

Viktor DUBNEVICH My previous car was VW Passat 7 1.6 TDI 105hp BMT CR and I sold it on 240 000 KM. If there was a difference in fuel consumption it must be minimal because I didn't even notice.

It will be. Our Variant has more than 330 000 km, and the very last avarage was 5.0l/100km with a mixed city and highway driving with the heater and AC on and 3 adults.

I had a 1.9TDI 100Hp with 278.000km and I'm not sure but my imprresion is that the fuel consumption increased arround 5 or 10% with respect to best time's car but it is not easy to say because fuel consumption is afected for several factors, speed, types of tires....

no. but it depends on factors like: driving style, wheels r16 , aditived fuel.

It's not a correct measurement. Video author is showing instant consumption. It should be average and it will be higher than instant.
