My current Golf is a 2018 and it's been flawless,if that helps.Bought my parents a 2006 and at 17 years,no mechanical repairs whatsoever.I used to buy Saabs but they're defunct.BTW,does he have a 6'+ frame?

Hi, not sure about the US spec, but the Euro specs don't have an automatic transmission option. Instead we have a Dual Clutch Manual (DSG) with automatic mode? Which option is best?
