my 1.0tsi gets roughly the same fuel economy as my previous 1.6tdi, so about 4.5l/100km for slower driving and 5 for highway. For me to be getting over 6 i'd need to drive quite aggressively.

Don't give power figures in kilowatts. I know it is the standard nowadays but no one is talking kilowatts. It's all horsepower.

this model is the worst to own. Engine light turn on and particel filter broke the cost to fix EGR valve 1500 Euro. Avoid VW Golf the worst cars on the market. The worst thing is that exhaust from engine coming in the cabin risk to poisson the driver! VW should be responsible for this issue !!! AVOID AVOID AVOID !

three cilinder engine 6,6l/100? omg thast too much... my Tce120 on clio has 5,4l/100... and then they say tsi is mor efficient than tce.. sure it is... peace out ;)

Dear Tilen it all depends where and how you drive it. My experience: city driving (better way is to express average speed which is 20-30km/h) is almost 100% and my average consumption with Clio 3 1.2 TCE 74kw is 9.5l/100km. In city it is 9-10l/km.
