Hi. That in gear acceleration at 02:00 is not on 6th, I think it's 5th. Compare the rpm on that in gear acceleration Vs the cruising at 100 in 6th gear, they're different 02:18 at 100km/h it's already at 2700rpm and when cruising at 100km/h in 6th, engine spins around 2100rpm as shown in the video 💯

It’s a torque converter. Old model had a CVT but they ditched it for the ZC33S (thank god)
