This is the second time this year the team has fallen behind by 15 points or more and he pulled them out of it wether he is good or not the fact that this young man has literally saved his teams season should get automatic respect. Ive been a Gator fan since 1998 and I have to say since Tebow, Franks is the only young man that shows heart for this team quite proud of his rebound performance. Happy the Gators win could not watch it at home cause i attended UTC, but didn't mean i couldn't see their fight lol! Its Great to be a Florida Gator!

Franks has shown heart and he's improved greatly from last season (i'm still not a fan of his, however i cant deny the progress he's made). In reality it was our run game that saved this game, but Franks also made the throws when he had to so he gets credit for that. It just seems like he doesn't wake up and use common sense until the team is down

*Takeaways:* I don't think the LSU game was a fluke. It's just what happens when we play with some passion. I feel like Missouri and definitely, the beginning of this game, wasn't played with heart... for obvious reasons. Take Vanderbilt and this game for instance. We could score easily and moved the ball at will when we wanted to. Now why we decide to do that when we're trailing 21-3 or what have you I don't know haha. We moved the ball and answered against LSU when we had to. When our defense doesn't give up 30+ points, we would be dominating and not playing discouraged. Sure, Mizzou sucked, but we're still moving in the right direction and have surely exceeded my expectations.

Oddly enough, the turning of the game came on a busted play at 8:28. If that first down didn't happen, I don't see Florida winning this one. This was a tough one to watch up until the end of the third quarter.

Frank's is a good guy. I have met him a couple of times and I told him last year I'm pulling for you man. It meant alot to him to know gator fans support him even though he struggled last year. He has done a complete turn around this year because he has a good coach. And Toney, listen here if they would give the ball to him more that man will win the Heisman

Wrong. With 2:00 minutes left in the game, first and goal and SCAR has zero timeouts left, the game is won. You could fumble trying to score. Take the easy snap and kneel. SCAR can't stop the clock. With a 40 second game clock, you can run an entire 160 seconds (2:40) off the clock with three straight kneels since Scarlett stayed in bounds on the previous play. Why risk a fumble? Take the W and move on.

@@smithwez1101 But you already proved the point by erasing a 17 point deficit in 20 minutes of gameplay. No need to take any unnecessary risks when the game is already won. Kinda like the LSU game. On that last pick six, we should've not scored and just taken a knee. Instead, we give LSU the ball back, down by 8 with a chance to tie the game. Nothing wrong with taking the easy W.

Great comeback win by the Gators after 2 weeks of less than mediocre effort and results. Shows heart and character by Mullen's staff and boys. I don't know why Toney doesn't get the ball more, but it was nice to see him more involved this week, even with the muffed punt. He's dynamic! Good for Franks to come out and play with heart and fire after being doubted by many, and in my opinion, it was warranted. You want the QB position, you better be ready to put it all out there and lead by example, and he hadn't done that in the last few games. But, he's our man for the rest of the year at least, maybe see more Jones sprinkled in now, which is fine, but I hope Franks still plays with fire and wants to show that he won't be that easy to replace next year. I would LOVE to see us finish FSU in the 1st half and put Jones in in the 2nd and watch him further light them up. First things first, Idaho you going down!

My heart tells me they should have responded at the end when SC got all chipper about it and punched it in for another touchdown to end the game right as time expired, but my head tells me cooler heads prevail. Slim chance, but a fumble and return would have been absolutely devastating to the program. Still though, if they wanted to get all chipper about it right at the very end on the goal line, they should have been embarrassed for it the very last play.
