All the shift points are figured out in auto mode on a speed run. Paddles are for autocross. Peak torque is 4500 and peak power is 5800-6800 so no need to redline it.

1) dyno fans don't flow the airflow you would get at speed. 2) closed box vs closed box, hood up is apples to apples

@@dc5131 common sense on the fans. Dyno runs are about 50-150 mph and you can feel the air flow from the fans is nothing like real street air flow. You can also see IAT temps on the dash at speed and see they are just above ambient temp. Hood up is just getting ambient air to the engine area like at speed. Hood down sitting on a dyno is not as if at speed.

​@JLTPERFORMANCE unless the cone filter is closed off and sucks air from outside the engine bay isn't it just sucking hot air from the closed engine bay when your driving?!? If you closed the hood and let the car run for a while then try the run wouldn't that more of a real world test??

Put on the Airaid Red dry filter closed box system on my 2020 GT, and to me it just feels like I lost a bit of torque and hp down low. Not sure if its just me or what. I had considered putting the stock box back on to do a little more comparison between the two, but probably wont. The airaid just looks to sweet and if there is a difference it's probably to small to really notice. About to put on a Corsa sport cat back on , hoping that maybe makes a little difference.

What’s the difference between this one and the tune required? I have the tune required on my 19 gt pp1 10 speed. When I bought it I didn’t see a no tune required intake guess this is fairly new? Bought mine about 2 years ago

No that's why it's no tune. A bigger tube than 100 mm will require tune.

Yeah I have a 22 PP1 and just got mine installed today, but I got it done with their gray filter. This, combined with a C&L h pipe really wakes the car up.

@KingZD1 No tune and no check engine light. I ripped the charcoal filters out when I got it and then finally gave into the cai. Just make sure you get the no tune one. I was worried that the 22+ models would be more sensitive to check engine lights, but I haven't had any issues 5k mikes later. I also paired this with an h pipe, and eibach lowering springs couldn't be happier.

@@jeffkelly9197 I heard most people say the stock intake is good on these cars, just remove the charcoal filter and get a KN Drop in filter. The aftermarket CAI's heatsoak too much in traffic, dont want to do that living in a hot state (PA).

@KingZD1 that was my thinking, but the drop in k&n gave me a check engine light. I'm sure I just had bad luck, but it didn't seal properly. Intake temps on the jlt are the same as stock because it's an enclosed box. If the k&n filter worked for me, I probably would still have that. Having said that, I'm happy I have this one and recommend it.

They have a gray dry filter color that would look great with blue. I just got mine installed today and love it.

The 22+ make 450 simply because Ford had to stuff a charcoal filter in the intake for emissions, if you rip that out then you will pick up horsepower and you’re back at previous gen 3 HP
