2018 AUDI S3 RESONATOR DELETE! (Sounds perfect)

Literally had my S3 less than 24 hours before I did this. To me, I agree, it sounds perfect. Honestly much louder than I was anticipating but no drone whatsoever. I've even gotten the odd burble out of the car when the exhaust heats up, especially on startup if the car is warm. Wish it burbled a little more but for the price you really can't beat it. This is the kind of sound I was chasing back when I had a GTI and never managed to get after multiple different setups.

I have an 18' S3 that I recently got from Car Max with very low miles, when I first test drove it , I was really impressed with how great the 2.0 TFSI sounded, nice and deep / beefy growl- I looked at the original Audi spec sheet in the glove box and discovered that my S3 has a resonator delete from the factory. With a resonator delete on these cars however you want to be careful- If you pair that with a down pipe AND cat back exhaust it has the potential to sound like a shitty honda (fart can). I have found the best combo is factory cat back, resonator delete along with upgraded turbo downpipe.

@@michaelmancusotheoneandonl1117 from what Ive heard , Catless DP is the way to go....nice deep roar to it, perfect German 4 banger sound, I was very impressed....my friend has EQT stage 2 E30 , stock catback , catless down pipe and res delete.

maybe move the clamps bolt up rather than hanging down so they have less chance to get bumped or move. just trying to look out for fellow s3 fellas!
