The engine will die like this, driving e-mode and then revving the cold engine to 7k rmp .... This is a big problem for Hybrid cars

Full electric can only run on warm engine, in fact most phev will turn on its engine on first start-up or cold environment even when it's in pure electric mode. Hybrid tech has been there a long time the engineer has figured it out on day one. The problem on hybrid is usually on the battery or the interface between engine and electric motor, but rarely the combustion engine itself. I'd even consider those two wear and tear especially on early hybrids..

Дмитрий Зайцев is it now? The 730D still does 0-60 in under 6.5 seconds. And it returns 60mpg. Understand most owners won’t ever use this acceleration. It’s been designed to be smooth so theoretically this power isn’t needed and a 160bhp engine is more than enough

This type of car can't last long.. The engine is shut down and then it comes on and immediately jumps to red line when you need it, without any warm up and probably without any oil running through the engine. I don't know what they were thinking.. Am I missing something or what?

For city or some cruising use I prefer 4 or 6 cylinder Not 8 or 12 I just save my money with 4 cylinder hybrid and but some sports car instead for my fun driving

Specially 740e (2.0L turbo + electric motor) 745e (3.0L turbo + electric motor) Are great options They are way better than petrol only 4 cylinder lol
