@@KyleSulkar M3 is meant to be driven. 2018 F80 M3 46K miles in 2 years. No issues, routine maintenance. Daily driven M3. Winter driving, you must purchase performance snow tires for the M3, else you will slide around or get stuck. Must reduce rim size to 18 inches to get the maximum traction benefit. Enjoy your M3 and have fun! I enjoy driving the M3 every day. Sign up and take the M One Day driving school in SC where your driving skills will improve. You will drive all the M cars (M2/M3/M4/M5) to their limits on a track.

They depreciate like all other cars, but the resale value is extremely strong with the m-series cars. Low mileage M3's/M4's are still going about 80 percent of its original price. Really good resale numbers..

The M cars are not like a normal BMW car yes it does depreciate until it turns 20. Then the value does start to go back up. I have a 2008 M3 V8 white with a carbon-fiber roof (deleted sunroof) It's hard for me not to drive it on the daily. I have a 2010 328 and it's just not as fun...

J Views my brother actually has a decked out 2015 m5, and I’m working on a video of that now- would love to do a comparison. The m3 has slightly better tech, is a bit more nimble and has slightly updated/newer looks - and probably a warranty if it’s an 18 The m5 sounds so so so much better, has a more comfortable ride and is capable of more power. However these motors can be slightly unreliable out of warranty (and expensive) and these cars just generally cost more money to fix. But I will go further in depth in a video ASAP

The suspension... Is the suspension rigid or is it smooth?
@KyleSulkar5 жыл бұрын
It's honestly very nice and completely daily drivable from the factory. I avoided modifying it as I didn't want to compromise this. It's no 7 series but truly is the best of all worlds in my opinion- the M5 would be the next level up, but also nearly double the price.

@@KyleSulkar My reason for asking is I currently drive a rally sport car where the suspension is rigid. I don't want another rally sport vehicle with such rigid suspension. I like the Lexus IS250 and I also love the M3... If the M3 suspension is smooth then I'll work with it as my next vehicle.

Arslan Akhtar 1. Carbon roof is optional trim a new purchase perspective as it costs $0 more compared to the sunroof, and many dealers stock both options. Regardless of what comes standard or not. 2. You’re 110% right, I definitely do say that too much, working on that. 3. “Somewhere in the 230’s” - you’re right. It’s 240. 4. Yes, I would say after deeply inspecting those last 3 segments, you’re definitely reaching to be nit picky...lol 5. That’s awesome! I really wish I would have got a comp pack, but at the time there weren’t many at dealers around. Congrats on the car and driving it the way it was intended for! And thank you very much for watching.

Nice car, nonetheless..

*non car person here who happens to be watching a bmw video for disclaimers* Forgive me if I sound stupid but do all the bmw M series drive manual ? What is dual clutch selector? Do any m series drive automatic? LMAO SORRY AGAIN IM UNEDUCATED IN CARS
@KyleSulkar5 жыл бұрын
Shela Duong Hi Shela, that is a great question! It’s somewhat loaded, as the M transmissions vary from generation to generation- But in short, the dct is a dual clutch transmission uses two clutches and a lot of new technology to make shifts as fast as possible without any delay- Making it different from an automatic standard transmission- You’ll notice the difference when driving as well, and that the car won’t inch forward at stoplights etc. because you are utilizing the two clutches as essentially a heavily technically involved manual transmission without a clutch pedal. The new M5 however, has reverted back to the traditional ZF 8-speed automatic transmission as they’ve developed ways to make these even faster and more capable of handling power. Hope this helps a tiny bit.

I was planning to, but at the time- production was finishing up (or had finished) so the available vehicles were slim and the only comp models were optioned 10-15k more since they didn't JUST have the comp package. Looking back, I would have loved to have had it because they come essentially "done" but as far as values go, I think my very lightly optioned car will hold up a bit better when it comes to the initial MSRP depreciation.
