Thanks for being honest about that issue. some people will be installing these for the first time and will not know that the adjusters should be free once the mounting bolts are nipped up.

I noticed some manufacturers put the axle nut on the right instead of the left. Is there particular reason why that is? I've noticed that when it's on the left the chain slack gets taken up when tightened and I have to take extra care to push the wheel forward. When I put the nut on the right I rarely have that problem.

All three of the bikes we are riding now had the axle nut on the right to start. I flipped the axle on all of the bikes to put the nut on the left because I feel it makes changing the tire easier. When I torque the axle down I like to put a 10 or 12mm wrench in between the sprocket and the chain then roll the wheel back to ensure the axle is firmly against the adjuster blocks. The position of the axle should not have any affect on the chain tension. - Van

you use zoom recorder to record some pole mic...i have this setup in my company...problem is that in vocal is so much room reverb/echo...you will have much better sound with tascam dr-10l or rode Wireless GO which you can connect directly into camera. Wireless GO into camera dont need resync audio to video.

Hi Brian, It's been a while. First thing. Thanks for sharing another great detailed vid. I bought a 2017 S1000R about 6 weeks ago. totally in love with it. Today I ordered the Lightech chain adjuster. If you don't mind me asking. In the BMW manual their is stated that when adjusting the chain, the rear wheel needs to be on the ground. Is there a big difference with how you do it and should I remove the rear wheel completely when installing the adjuster?

what up man. i have L/Tech all over my 07 ZX6R. great vids by the way 🇺🇸🤘😎 ps. what’s the model of bike table? i’m gonna be lookin for one next year.

Worth mentioning the K46 lightech adjusters don't fit the K67. Also wish they made the lifters in black. As always, awesome detailed explanation every step and calling out potential mistakes. thank you!

Hey Brian. I noticed that the cut-out for the swing arm bolt is facing INWARD instead of OUTWARD on the Lightech chain adjuster. Is that a newer version of the chain adjuster? Shouldn't the cut-out be facing outward?
@sportbiketrackgear4 жыл бұрын
Not sure if this is a new design or if Lightech just felt this was the best for the S1000RR. I will say they fit and work as expected. - Van

Hey, Brian….. I don’t think you had to take tire off to install these. Supper the wheel from underneath with a block of wood or anything, slide axle out, install adjusters, and then slide able back in.

How you call the rear tire lift for the stand? Need that thing
@sportbiketrackgear2 жыл бұрын
Woodcraft Rear Stand. Here is a link to them on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/woodcraft/?_bc_fsnf=1&Product=Rear+Stand

@@sportbiketrackgear I mean not the stand itself, but the little tool you are using to lift the wheel to align it for easier axle insertion. Best Regards

Van i have a question, I installed these and the chain side adjuster is a little hard to turn by hand, the other side is adjusted easily though. Is that normal?
@sportbiketrackgear2 жыл бұрын
If this is the case when the axle is not installed then you have an issue. If you are noticing this with the axle in place I have found the drive side a little tougher. - Van

Hey Bryan I thought the lifter go on the outside not inside we’re u had them ? I never owned ones but I am looking to put some on my 16 bmw race bike. And I always seen them on the outside.
@sportbiketrackgear4 жыл бұрын
The are installed on the inside for sure. We received the correct pair and have them on the bike now. - Van

Sportbike Track Gear yes I did my research after and seen they have a generation 1 and generation 2. Maybe the new ones go on the inside now. It does make it look way. Cleaner than having it outside. Great work Bryan. Will buy a set soon for mine as well.
