Des I see your chucking bomb out to check bottom! Is there anyway to quess depth I am not a big fan of chucking a marker float about! Ty! Awesome tips love your videos 👍

Nice Video, which hook remover is he using?
@Sonubaits4 жыл бұрын
Hi Max, It is the Preston Innovations Disgorger/Knot Picker from the 'Floater' range. www.prestoninnovations.com/en/products/floater-disgorger-knot-picker

Surprised you don't have a purpose marker float set up for finding your spot. I.e braid, 3-4oz lead and a float as depth is also important.

quick question when the feeder hits the clip whats the optimum hight the feeder needs to be above the water.. so it dosent crash in thanks
@culiopistillo60245 жыл бұрын
this is a very important question! any answer would be really appreciated!!! anyway i always seen DES SHIPP put his finger on the spool before the line hit the clip that probably mean he try to brake the line to avoid any crash..

Maybe a noob question, but I thought 2mm pellets need 2 minutes to soak? Or is it better to keep your 15 seconds method?
@user-sr6pq7dv8q6 жыл бұрын
Some pellets need 2 minutes to soak and some don't. I use the same pellets as he was using i personally soak them for 30 seconds and let them sit for 15 minutes.
@culiopistillo60245 жыл бұрын
weather play a big rule , sometime in the hottest days 30 second would be enought

Nice video but, could someone explain what Des was doing with the two blue poles, around the 8.08 part of the video. I havent fished for around thirty years and I have never seen that before. Thanks in advance.
@frostyrca5 жыл бұрын
it's for measuring the distance, in case he needs to unclip the line he would go back and measure again the distance he started fishing. it's better then the line marker because that doesn't help if the line breaks

I see you are using a new butt rest when are they coming to the shops that looks great

Really good video if you're clipped up and a decent carp picks your bait up and runs off with it how do you unclip to give the fish line before it breaks you
@rossco1716 жыл бұрын
I was wondering that as well.

Fishing is a big buiness now and the few who make it treat it like that and very few ever reply to the questions to the average angler ,dont ever ask um on the bank your likley to just get a blank look.You will find a few and thats it.
@Sonubaits6 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, It's a case of pushing the rod toward the fish and pulling the line from underneath the clip. It's easier than it sounds!
@michaeljones35126 жыл бұрын
Sonubaits thank you for the reply I will tie a load of hooks and give it a try

@hamburgerquieddje38986 жыл бұрын
Do you remove the clip after throwing out or do you let it stay set? If so, what about big ones hitting in the break?
@Sonubaits6 жыл бұрын
The clip is kept on. the stretch in mono reel line allows the clip to be taken off quickly.
