I think I have to do this on the front... I'm guessing its more or less the same procedure. Did you have to drain the diff before you started this? I just changed both differentials last year unfortunately.

I did drain it. It over all wasn't a hard job

@@LCPowersports Thanks for quick response. Did you have to drain it? I wonder if I can get away without draining it.

I just happened to see it leaking I try to check stuff out before and after rides. It's good to just check over your machine so you can find stuff before it comes a bigger problem.

Good video man. Next time it may be a good idea to grease your parts, seals, bolts, anything that's gonna touch metal to metal or to rubber. Will come apart easily and keeps water out of everything. Just a thought

Good idea thanks for the input man! All I greased was the trailing arm bolt then all of the grease points.

@@LCPowersports get you a hub greaser tool also so you can grease hub bearings anytime axles are out. Hardly any grease is in them at all and the trailing arm hub bearings are a total bitch to change out. Lol. One of those ask me how I know situations. Lol. Great channel man. Keep up the great work. If you ever get a chance check out some of my builds on my channel. I have a 1000xt I've had to rebuild and upgrade everything on.

Don’t understand why you removed the swing arm. You don’t have to to remove the axles.
