Bought a new air filter for mine since I hit 12k miles. Do you think I can just pivot the tank back to get at it ? I don’t like to go deeper then I have to. I should also remove those rubber block offs in the air ducts

Ya, definitely. It may be a little tight but it's made to pivot to service the area.

Hey man, I’d like to do the same to my 2019 cbr 1000.. The only thing I’m familiar with, is the Moto gp akropovic slip on.. Can you please share, what’s your exhaust pair device is? ECU flash? Front and rear sprocket? I appreciate you , sharing your content with us

Pair device caps I bought from motosport. Nothing too fancy there. Ecu flash from Danos Performance in california. Front and rear sprocket are driven and afam. Both killer companies for long lasting quality sprockets.

Dude you want get a check engine light right off the bat if you do an exhaust or air filter. It is true that you would eventually because of new adjustment

If I'm understanding your cryptic message correctly. You may be right just to switch, but you will have that motor running constantly for you exhaust flap as well as I mapped my computer, if you don't do what I said your likely to get everything mixed up if you do exhaust before and then get the computer flashed after. Beyond that it would be pretty foolish to just swap an exhaust without mapping the bike, it will run like shit. If you don't notice it running like shit.. well that's a whole other story. To each's own.

Dude do know from mechanical background of yours but the common person would know that the bikes computer system would look for variations that use to exist but don't since Sprint Filter and SC PROJECT slip-on etc... been riding longer than you've been living and knows that starting a bike after installing Filter and exhaust won't harm the bike its a different story if you're out riding a bike that's too lean or too rich without the flash. You definitely will need the flash.

Sorry man too difficult to understand you. Maybe type slower? Less emotion? less insulting? Idk but you need to type grammatically correct sentences so I can understand. If you need to tell someone how long you have been alive to make a point... maybe let it go or come across calm, collected and coherent; or in this case just clear.

Oh.. and I never said anything about "harming" the bike. I simply know like all others who build, modify and race... I would never just slip on an exhaust without mapping or adjusting trim manually. Running hot will fuck the bike up, more air isn't going to hurt much but also understanding that Honda racing has an amazing R&D department makes me stick with stock filters. Which have been proven to give more than enough air then the bikes needs. Different stacks, porting heads, now we get into what modifying incoming air can do.
