Actually your 8th mile was faster and you lost that race on the line... approx .0300 of a second he got you off the line. There's your data. Good stuff man! Love my EB and yes with just a tune it can destroy most. Good race. People saying tire size and lift and everything else for the silverado leave out that it's procharged on methanol!!!... I mean he put thousands in that truck and the tune only ford held it boyzzz!!! P.s. I'm a lifelong gm guy with 3 in the driveway 2 cammed and modified. I daily a f150 3.5 eb.

that's what I was thinking would happen.. heavy 4x4 truck 6 speed trans and tunes with turbos make a huge difference. props to both

Bro, the silverado is procharged on methanol injection... some baby turbos just whooped him tune only... no excuse there but was a good race

If the guy in the ecoboost had the same reaction time as the chevy the ford would have won. Pretty sad if you ask me, considering the ford is all stock with a tune only

Mike , still pretty sad. With an v8 engine almost twice the displacement and supercharged, meth injection, headers and tune and its door to door with a stock ecoboost v6 with a tune. Thats pretty sad mike...

Chad Pedersen I agree to some degree. Those eco boosts can run. No doubt. I feel like a ProCharged 5.3 should run lower than that, but apparently not. The sad thing is the way those eb sound. Good thing the v8 drowns it out in this video 😬😆

look at how small the tires are on the f150 and how huge those tires are on the chevy lol.. just to put in perspective i ran 6 tenths faster in my truck by just swapping street tires to a shorter diameter slick.. if the chevy was on super short radials/slicks like that ford and launched in 4 wheel it would be gap city no disrespect to the ford its very impressive just sayin

Everyone is ignoring the fact that the silverado is procharged on methanol... I'd say that makes up for some tires. Also the ford has just a tune... I'm a gm guy but just bought and EB f150 pltnm... love my cammed ls trucks but the ford is a monster.

I’m not hating at all, those ecoboost are badass for a v6, but a lot of people overlook the twin turbo part and what they’re capable of when compared to a v8...good race.
