+kapeel kokane Well, we would not recommend you to go for the after market solution here as the brand has classified its variants accordingly and the music system has its own software configurations which are done as per the variants offerings. Moreover going for any after market solution may void the warranty also.

+Anupam Bhatt Going for the after-market modifications/alterations will run the high risk of voiding the car warranty. So, we won't suggest you to go for it. The Ambiente variant of Freestyle gets ABS with EBD and dual front airbags as standard, it does miss out on an audio system. Thankfully, it gets reverse parking sensors, so that’s one less add-on you’d need to worry about.

Whereas, Honda Amaze S fulfils all basic needs. The variant to go for if you’re on a budget. It gets Power-adjustable and folding outside rearview mirrors with integrated blinkers, Piano black and silver finish on the inside, 2-DIN audio system with AUX, Bluetooth, USB and steering-mounted controls, Four door speakers, Central locking and keyless entry, Front and rear accessory socket, Tilt-adjustable steering, Height-adjustable driver seat, Adjustable front headrests, Rear armrest with cupholder etc. It ticks all the basic features that are there in our books and some more. The Amaze S looks contemporary on the outside and the interiors feel premium because of the piano black and silver touches around the dashboard, AC vents and door trims. The additional features it gets over the E variant at a price premium of Rs 90,000 is worth it since many of these features cannot be acquired from the aftermarket. On the other hand, The top Titanium+ variant of this car gets side and curtain airbags, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, auto dimming IRVM and a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. And while these are features that you can live without, having them will make your driving experience a lot more pleasant. Lest we forget, there’s a total of six airbags for added protection as well. Hence, the additional Rs 55,000 you’d have to shell out to upgrade from the Titanium variant won’t feel like a pinch either.

Comments came from previous ford users that mileage isnt that great. Also the freestyle.misses out on led projectors and push open system for car. The proven and reliable engine, along with a strong after-sales network, make the Brezza an extremely attractive package. It offers decent power and fuel efficiency too. The Nexon’s loud styling might not appeal to all, but will definitely click with those looking for something hatke. Yes, quality control on the Nexon could’ve been slightly better and the petrol motor could’ve been a notch more responsive. That said, neither of these are reasons to rule the Nexon out completely. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day. Freestyle is packed with new 3-cylinder motor which feels far superior to the older 4-cylinder unit. The new one is excellent at - it has class-leading figures and feels punchy as well. That said, the primary focus of this engine remains superior driveability and not outright performance. Since it’s got an odd number of cylinders, it is quite natural to expect some vibrations. Thankfully, it doesn’t have any, regardless of it missing a balancer shaft that keeps vibrations in check. That said, it could produce vibrations under a cold start, but it gets fairly smooth in no time. The diesel version gets the tried-and-tested 1.5-litre TDCI engine that also powers the Figo, Aspire and the EcoSport. It continues to be as capable and potent as before. What will impress you the most is its ride quality. Be it within city limits or at triple-digit speeds, the Freestyle never ceases to impress. The revised damping helps the Freestyle absorb undulations better and it hardly filters anything into the cabin. The impressive ride quality can certainly match that of cars from a segment above. The same set of wheels are offered with this trim level as well, however, it gets full wheel cover. On the inside, it comes with faux-wood and brushed aluminium-like inserts. A non-touch double-din audio system featuring Bluetooth phone integration and steering-mounted controls is offered, and it is coupled to a four-speaker system. Also offered are rear centre armrest, power windows, rear power socket and electronically adjustable ORVMs. The front seats get adjustable headrest and it also offers height-adjustable driver seat. As for safety, the V variants adds an anti-theft security system, central locking with auto door lock, and night and day adjustable internal rear view mirror. +Tejas Joshi The Titanium adds much-needed features like an adjustable driver’s seat, which you cannot retrofit post-purchase. Features like ESP, TC & HLA are also significant add-ons from the safety perspective with the automatic variant. For manual Aspire, the Titanium variant still justifies the premium. That said, we would have liked if Ford could offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-equipped SYNC 3 infotainment system from Titanium variant onwards as it’s the only variant that’s also available with an automatic transmission. Cruise control feature with automatic transmission is another miss in our books. on the other hand, the Titanium+ is the variant that gets all the bells and whistles, especially on the safety front. The highlight of the Titanium+ variant is its class-leading six airbags, including side and curtain ones. What also makes a big statement is Ford’s famous SYNC 3 unit, which is simply one of the best in the market, with Android Auto and CarPlay as well as Emergency Assistance. We would have welcomed a leather-wrapped steering wheel for the Titanium+. That said, the premium over the Titanium is pretty acceptable.

The Swift’s V variant is the one that fulfils the needs of most of the buyers since it ticks all the right boxes. But a jump of Rs 88,000 for the basic amenities over the base variant is a bit on the higher side. If you okay to own a Swift minus electrically adjustable ORVMs, steering controls and height adjustable driver’s seat, we’d recommend you to go for the base variant and get power windows, central locking, keyless entry, and audio system fitted from Maruti Suzuki. These might not cost you over Rs 35,000. Get seat covers as well and you’ll still save some money. On the other hand, the Trend variant of the Freestyle gets all the important features that we expect from a sub-Rs 10 lakh hatchback. However, the additional goodies on offer do not justify the premium of Rs 90,000 over the base variant, especially when you consider that you can get most of these add-ons retrofitted at a much lower cost. Just got to drive this today. It feels more peppy than my friends' Baleno. IDK why the reviewers are saying that maruti's (Baleno/Ignis/Swift) 1.2 is better than ford's dragon 1.2 ... This one felt superior in almost every way. When it comes to comfort, Baleno is marginally more refined but freestyle definitely has better suspension.
