thats for the ecoboost. When i was checking out mustang prices they averaged around 40k or more if u dont care for all the features that give that performance on paper that they are proud of. I hear bad stories about the 4 banger and those things will pop if u put more than 400tq to the wheels, but the v8 is fine.

I think you will find that yes Ford says the new Mustang is 460 hp but it lies! I’ve seen several vinyl runs now they put the car in the very high 490 hp range almost 500 hp

Not all auto equipped GT's are quick. Base 300A GT's with the auto come standard with 3.15 gears, but not the toggles with drive mode. So there's only one "normal " drive mode. These cars won't touch 60 mph in under 4.3 sec. zone can order the car with 3.55's, which will help a little bit, but then you'll need to buy sticky tires. Next up is the base 301A. It comes with the drive modes and toggles. It too, can be had with the base 3.15 gears or ordered with 3.55's, these are LSD rears, just not the TORSEN. Also, I need to mention, if your in a 91 octane state, you get 448-450 hp and 405-410 lb-ft of tq. So you don't NEED a much heavier, full on performance pack to get the special acceleration. But do upgrade the tires and a cheap suspension mod and your done, for well under a pp car. And don't bother with the Audi A4 dash upgrade unless your after koolness or tech. That adds 45 lbs of kool to it. But if going quick in a straight line is all you care about, stick with the much lighter base cars and 18" wheels. And btw, 20" wheels will add over a 1/4 of a second to acceleration times. So youlll be a but slower. 18" wheels rake less distance to do one full rotation. You'll get shorter stopping distances, quicker acceleration and better mpg's on shorter height tires. There's a reason drag racers use 15" wheels: They make the car quicker and faster.

I wish they would increase the gas tank size from a 16 to a 18.5 like challenger & charger or 19 like the camaro for a v8 that 16gal is kinda small but i know you dont buy these for mpg/range but would be nice to get the camaros/chargers range if the tank was only bigger..

My first car was a used 1996 mustang. Only put out 150 hp but I loved it at the time. I bought a new SUV in 2014 because I’m a drummer and I needed a big car with space for my gear. I test drove the 2014 mustang coupe and it was awesome. If I wasn’t a drummer, I would have bought the mustang instead. If I could afford it, I would have that mustang and my SUV to drive just for gigs. The new 2018 mustangs look fucking awesome!

I swear to god, the best thing Ford did on these cars is placing the backup camera in the center. I HATE when manufacturers offset the backup camera. And of course the new 5.0, transmission and dash display aer just amazing. Definitely going to replace my WRX in a couple years.

Great video, your one of the few narrators who don't stutter, is unprepared, repeats, and use allot of, ah, ah, oh ah,. I like your smooth, continuous output of information. The only thing I would do different is In reference to describing the automatic and shifting manually with the paddles. It appears that several viewers are quick to criticize your short shifting not taking in consideration that your on a public access road with a speed limit. My suggestion would be to find a straight section of road that was hardly used and do it both from a dead stop and at a low constant speed. This would allow you to take each gear that you use up to a higher RPM. Good job thanks.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I believe you misunderstood me. I didn't suggest anywhere for you to red line the gears but to be able to take it to a higher rpm than what you were doing. I wasn't suggesting a burn out or drag run just a normal start. I thought you may want to show a normal start and then while running maybe paddle down a gear then progress up (paddle up) again while moving 35 or 45 mph. I was just trying to help since viewers were blaming you for not driving right that's all. I understood what you did but others didn't. BTW I own a 2018 premium GT manual transmission, perfomance pk and all. Ford out did themselves on this one no words can describe. Good job.

Selcuk Kis The SS has more sportscar in it. But the GT has more practicality. Also, driving my freinds car with an M/T, I was allowed to push it a bit. A brand new car with an A/T, I couldn't push it as much. So kinda hard to compare head to head. But both are sweet cars for sure

You skipped drag mode on the toggles review and, you shit the car down after remote start. You should have shown folks that the remote start is a light start, not full start. The car is still locked and gauges are off until the start button is lightly pushed to bring the electronics online.

I heard you can get the GT350 magniride suspension on the normal GT 5.0 premium but if you want to take it to the road course you'll need the six speed manual transmission because automatic transmissions are no good for road courses the reason why is when you downshift it manual it naturally slows down witch means you use your brakes less with a automatic when your in manual mode if you downshift a automatic it just coasts it doesn't slow down meaning you'll burn up your breaks in an instant and if something goes wrong with your automatic transmission you'll either be dead because someone will rearend you or you will grenade your entire driveline just one automatic transmission will cost you over 23,000 dollars automatics are too advanced for their own good and if something fails it'll cost you big so no automatics for me it's just more to go wrong but the mustang is a beast that exhaust mode is awesome and the coyote never sounded better of course I'll supercharge mine but I will ask my dealer how much horsepower you can put in it on stock internals it looks sweet its definitely the best looking muscle car of them all

I’m in a dilema... i can get an 18 base GT from the ford dealership for 31k at 0%APR or I can get a used 17 GT premium with the performance pack for 30k at 3.5APR, however it does have 16k miles

We tend to rev up and spur sport cars a bit more than regular cars. It means more wear and tear. And that's very taxing on the car. I'd say 16k miles on a muscle car is tantamount to 30-40,000 miles on a regular one. So, definitely go for a new one. Somebody bought this beauty with the perform. pack and had some fun, and now is trying to dump her at the same price tag (I guess some dealerships is gonna make a handsome profit out of that). That ain't right. You should drive them a hard bargain. I don't want to be judgmental. It's just an opinion. You are fine either way. Sport cars should have a relatively hassle-free lifespan of up to 70k miles and more. It all depends, of course.

Nismo is much more nimble and tossbale in the turns. They feel about the same in acceleration. The GT will be a bit fast from a stand still in a drag race. And the Mustang is more practical. Depends on what you want out of the car. I thing the Z is lot more fun to drive
