yo when I got introduced to disc golf I remember a video with a guy trowing up a hill and now I recognize it as hole 13. its so weird because that video was probably only about 6 years old and he talked about how nobody throws sidearm now most everybody has a sidearm.

so fun to watch given location of my home... live about 1.5 miles to 2 miles south... never played this course... only open a few weeks prior to events like this... big group from my club (we luv the sport but do it socially - averaging 3 per hole great kind of thing) played it and called it waste of time... not a negative instead of just too hard - got to be really good as in pro level to play this course - elevation changes out wazoo and if not in fairway finding disc similar to throwing rusty dime into ocean off cruise boat then diving in thinking "I want that dime."

It's part of the appeal to me personally. It's a laid back, fun vibe with (as you said) great quality. To each their own though; you could try watching Central Coast Disc Golf for more "professional" commentary if you haven't tried it already :) Edit: Watching the final 4 holes, I agree with you; it was a little over the top lol

AJ Risley is definitely a clear step down in commentary quality, and I definitely don't care about his whining and bemoaning some stupid bet. On top of that, he just doesn't carry enough disc golf clout for me to care what he has to say about the top players in the world. Jeremy has really come into his own, and did his best to carry the pair, but in the end, this was back to amateur hour. How disappointing.
