Would you be able to drop in a complete Type R engine and upgrade the Transmission plates while doing this?

The 2.0t accord is a type r just detuned civic comes with a k20c1 the accord comes with a k20c4 that’s why with a simple ktune basemap the 2.0t accord becomes faster than the civic type r and paired with a 10 spd auto trans the accord is nothing to play with. But add a simple basemap tune to the civic type r and that things a monster

What resources would you recommend for understanding the engine wiring and harness? Trying to rewire an engine at the moment.

Check on all data, they got all wiring diagrams and color codes

Why not replace the belt? For pennies on the dollar that should have been done to just eliminate a possible future headache.

I don't have a ac machine, can I leave the ac pump attached to the car? Or does that make it harder to remove?

You can leave it attached if it won’t be in your way, and can tie it with some bungee cords, that’s fine

What happened to the engine? Someone advice me to replace my engine because all the compression are below 70.

There was a crack on the block, and if the compression is below 70 your motor is weak and needs to be replaced my brother

That engine sounded kinda bad. I have a blown headgasket on mine and was told it would probably be cheaper to just swap motor

The sound you're hearing is the direct injection.

Yes it is cheaper on swapping, replacing head gasket is a lot of work.
