Best mode+ for this bike has being done by ECU flash ( Superbike Unlimited).

Agree with Paulo, the slip on seemed to be a waste of time and money since the most gains came from the ecu flash. The muffler would just be cosmetic. May be a full system etc would yield additional gains.

Fred Flintstone full systems on these really only will give another 2-4hp max. I just bought what I liked the look and sound of hah

@ motorcycle mall Is this with the header catalytic converter delete and air filter dyno results.? It didn’t really say what mods were done besides the obvious muffler

173hp at the wheel so you need to add between 10 and 15% to have the power at the engine. So 1,15x173=198

Can't compete with 18 gsxr 1000 RR, best bung for the buck than any other 1000, well tuned is as fast or faster than a S1000.

Out the box gsxr does 170hp. Also the Honda weighs a lot less. I have both bikes and sold the gsxr after riding the cbr. It feels like a 600 with the power of a 1000

@@MotorcycleMallBelleville do you flash for torque instead of hp? I understand there will be a loss in hp for the gain in torque but with the 500 RPM over-rev the numbers should be in the 179 hp rear-wheel range or better. Not to mention the 220 hp at the crank with stock exhaust and restrictions removed.

@@MotorcycleMallBelleville aah yes...172, I had a woolich flash mapped 13.1 air fuel up to 10000rpm then mapped to 12.7,6, I'm putting 185 hp on the wheel

The true advantage is in the torque which is used to measure hp in the first place. Honda produces 85.6 ft-lbs of max Torque @ 10,500 RPMs. My 2017 R1 only produced 82.9 ft-lbs max @ 11,000 RPMs. Any reading beyond a max torque RPM reading is reading power loss due to mechanical drag and is a false reading for hp figures. My R1 reads 200 hp @ 13,500 RPMs but is really only 173 hp @ 11,000 RPMs due to max torque. The Honda produces a real-life 171 hp due to its max torque @ 10,500 RPMs. This is a 2 hp difference. But the Honda is lighter and smaller, and therefore, more powerful than my R1 when weight is added to the drag loss in hp. They play with numbers and it sucks. Flash the Honda for better torque not hp and add 500 more RPM over-rev and you could see numbers in the new 2020 CBR1000RR at 220 hp. ( 13,000 rpm to 13,500/ 13,500 x torque or 85.6 divided by 5252 = 220 hp) Just 500 RPMs and a torque flash make the difference. 189 or 220? You decide...

@@evandynandar9183 Yes its more than possible. No it will not damage the engine. Honda makes their bikes to last. They restrict them to make them last longer and remove the risk of damage. Modding the bike will only make it no different than what the competition sales. But the over rev is safe for all bikes as long as it not over 500 rpm. Race bikes already have a higher rev than street bikes and these new bikes are race ready. Honda focused on usable hp. Having tons of hp you can use safely isnt effective. But they never look at the usable hp ratings. In the sreet at peak hp the bike will more likely kill you in traffic. So its reduced...restricted and rpm limited. Remove these limits and your bike is no longer in street riding trim but will be in race trim

Shame after all these years the cbr hasn't made any more power than the 08......while all other manufacturers have bumped up the power output....the fireblade is light but gets eaten alive up top in the higher revs.......still a nice bike tho 👍🏻👍🏻

@@tysta2 event though is still 15hp under over any new 1000rr, I don't know why Honda doesn't make a V4 RR, Honda makes V4's since the 80's..Nobody has more resources or expertise than them.

@ actually the cbr its its only 10 hp vs R1. And a v4 configuration not always its the best option. Honda always been conservative regarding the power on their motorcycles. Still one the best 1000 cc bikes out there horsepower isn't everything.....

@@tysta2 I am an Honda owner, I love their build quality and reliability, but even Suzuki upgraded the gsxr 1000 after almost 10 years and the new one its a bomb. It's obout time...

@@AriefPizzuti its 189 at the crank @ 13,000 RPMs. Flash it to an over-rev or 13,500 RPMs and you will see well over 200 hp at the crank with ease and bone stock too!

@@eworldmusikinc.3054 Understood. I saw the video of ten kate says they tune Fireblade SP2 not the base model to 220hp, didn't know at what rpm since fireblade is uncompetitive in wsbk, this year I heard they let hrc up the rev again.
