Hi guys the 13 tooth sprocket makes the bike pick up a lot quicker to put up the hills better . Try the DRC tail tidy that will lose some weight. R&G detachable indicators also Also. A radiator brace as the radiators are soft as jelly. R&G do engine side case protectors that helps with the stones hitting the engine . Your exhaust looks wicked . & What a wonderful country u have to ride in .

Ive had problems with the 13 tooth I’ve noticed it wears out quickly and easily compared to the 14 tooth. If you want some more power you can keep the front sprocket stock and the rear change to 45 it will accelerate quicker and climbed hills easier. The exhaust changes the bike like fr! It adds power and it makes the bike breathe better. I still have the radiator guard stock and have no problems with that, I mostly rode on road that’s why I don’t really have to change it. But overall the sprocket and exhaust changes the bike a lot! Love my crf250l got 5800 miles on it😄

RaceTec makes a spring kit for the front, awesome upgrade. Keeps the front from diving. Been super happy with it.👍🏻
@adventurepastor81955 жыл бұрын
Yah the diving front end is its biggest flaw. How much does that spring kit cost?
@Droptineful5 жыл бұрын
I got it from Rocky Mountain ATV and Motorcycle for $109.00. Worth the money.

Pastor, I also own a 2018 Crf250l and HIGHLY recommend you install a EJK fuel controller. It will make your bike alive as it should have been from the factory.

Nice bike I want one. I had Heidenau K60 Scouts on my 94 DR350SE and I LOVED THEM. They went anywhere I wanted to go no with complaint and are great on and off road plus they wear like iron. I just got a 97 XR650L and I got a K60 rear and a Karoo 3 front but I haven't installed them yet so no idea how they will work together. WOW the XR650L has A LOT MORE POOP than a DR350 but I REALLY miss my DR :(

I really like the idea of an xr650! A go anywhere bike that can handle the highway! Hope they workout well for you!

hi did you fit the 13t sprocket ?

@@adventurepastor8195 how did it affect the cruising speed ?
@adventurepastor81955 жыл бұрын
@@markbezzy it definitely made the rpm higher at any given speed. So now cruising at 50mph it will be at about 6.5k rpm. But now.it climbs hills in 5th and 6th gear and off road it crawls in 1st and is a lot more torquey

So do you mind saying how tall and how much you weigh? I’m 6’3” and 200 lbs and wondering how this will do with my size..

I am 5'10" and like 170 haha. I have recently upgraded the suspension and its way better! I would recommend suspension upgrade if you are over 150 pounds.

How are you liking your new bike?
@machalforbes85755 жыл бұрын
@@adventurepastor8195 I'm loving it. It's everything I wanted (other than a Harley Streetglide... but we'll save that for when I hit the lottery). I wish it sounded deeper with stock exhaust, but that's just nit-picking for my personal preference. The only real downside is the seat. While the bike is still very new to me, after about an hour, I wish I had something softer. I got a Maddog seat cover, adn it helps a little, but not much. I will likely go back to just the stock seat until I can upgrade to a Seat Concepts. Aside from that, for me poking around on back roads in Southwestern Pa, and maybe a little trail here or there, I could not be happier!
@adventurepastor81955 жыл бұрын
That's great to hear. Yah I added the maddog seat cover too and it helps a bit.

heard the 13t could wear the chain out more and its smaller diameter could eventually wear the rubber off the swingarm.
