I went in to buy an RDX-1 carbon but they didn't have any in stock. I tried shooting the Hyperforce and was really impressed. So I bought it. I tried the Triax and it just didn't fit. The bow tech had a very harsh rollover and that was surprising giving it had the comfort setting on. The Hoyt shot way faster than the other ones. Driving home I was suffering from buyers remorse for not waiting for the carbon to come back in the shop, but after watching your video I'm good with my choice. The Hyperforce points really well and I was able to hold it steady like crazy. I'm really happy with it. Thanks for the video!

Great review! I just bought that bow in the 55-65# draw weight and 27-30" draw length (I am 56 yrs old, 150 lbs and 5'9" tall). My question concerns the stabilization. I will use the bow to hunt mostly turkeys, deer, and elk (maybe sheep, goats, antelope or moose if ever drew a tag), but I also participate in several 'hunting' based shooting events (TTH , etc) and would like to know how you might set up the stabilization for both of those? For example, would you utilize the side/back stabilizer, and if so, what lengths would you use? Would you consider a longer/adjustable front stabilizer such as the 12-31" 'Crossover' stabilizer, especially for longer shots? And finally, what are your thoughts on 'fixed' multi-pin sights vs the newer fixed PLUS a single adjustable pin for 'zeroing' in on precise target distances? Thank you very much!

For a hunting bow, one that not only holds and shoots well but one that is easy to handle in the field I tend to not use large stablizers and back bars. I think 8in out front with adequate weight is plenty, then counter that with some short (6in or so) weight out the back if needed. I am not a fan of taking a maneuverable bow then making it less so for an additional 10% increase in stability. Another aspect to consider for a hunting bow is the ability of the stabilizer to move somewhat, the way Doinkers can move. They rubber in them allows the weight to vibrate and that diminishes the vibration and noise better, even if they are not as long as the static or straight bars. Hope this helps and please ask any other questions you have. I might not have the answers but will try hard to find out for you.

On Hoyt's website they don't seem to differentiate between carbon and Aluminum Hyperforce - just states Hyperforce 2018. Is the draw weight say 60-70 pound very easily changed in the field? Any tips on what hunting sites to pair up with this bow/
@adamkilgore29027 жыл бұрын
For this year there is only one Hyperforce, the aluminum. The carbon bow is the RX-1. The draw weight is changed by the limb bolts that are found at the in the limb pockets at the end of the riser. While the weight could be changed in the field it changes everything about the bow when you do (speed, pin gap, ect) so probably not the best idea to do in the field. Hunting sights are a huge topic. I will try and do a separate video on them.

I am new to archery. Want to start with a great bow something that last me for several years. Been new to this sport I caught up in between speed and comfort (reign 6, hyperforce or rx1turbo). Please advise. Thank you
@outdooranalytics78876 жыл бұрын
Really hard to go wrong with any of those bows but if you are new to archery I would advise against any turbo or speed bow. All bows are more then fast enough to do whatever you need today so I would pick one that is the most forgiving of beginning shooting flaws. out of those three I would say either the reign 6 or the hyperforce. The hyperforce probably has the most valley but the reign is probably a tiny bit easier to draw (in comfort mode) both will be about the same speed and both hold amazingly well. You will have to shoot them both and see what feels best to you (which is what is the most important part)

i really want to get one of these. Can you do a shooting review out to 100 yards? There are vary few decent shooting reviews on the Hyperforce.
@outdooranalytics78876 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the watch and comment! I would like to do a long range shooting review but the Hyperforce has been sold to fund other bows to review. This bow did shoot well at distance and really started to separate itself from the pack at the 70-80 yard range. At those ranges and beyond though, although fun to do and watch, there is little to be gained educationally thru watching as it become much more a function of the shooter then the bow. I will try and start to incorporate longer range shooting into my reviews.

Thank you. I just wanted to see, with the proper form, what his bow could do. Very helpful. With this review i will almost certainly get this bow. Only thing left t do is test shoot it.

Dude. Is that buck skin. It looks olive. Id love it in olive
@adamkilgore29027 жыл бұрын
It is buckskin. On the aluminum bows the buckskin holds fine. On the carbon maybe because of the texture but it rubs and flakes off really quickly.

I don't think you said the "ATA LENGTH" other than that nice review.. also footage of the bow in action is always good . Just subscribed 👍. Don't let me down LOL 😲
@outdooranalytics78877 жыл бұрын
You are right. The ATA length is 32inches and I should of had that in the video. I am working on improving my editing skills and will have some shooting in the future bow reviews. Thanks for watching.
