Got an idea, assuming your EJK is now fueling the bike well, yank off the airbox lid, richen the "red" zone by 2 numbers (lights) - Better duct tape your hands to the bars for your first snap-and-hold wide open throttle from 5K rpm to 10,500 rpm..

Awesome job on the bike! Kawasaki ought to take notice of what you achieved. I'd buy a KLX351 tomorrow. Was thinking it would be ideal in a Supermoto setup too.

Much thanks! It would great if they checked out some of these videos and maybe drew some inspiration from it. I think it's safe to say all of us would like a dual sport with 30+ horsepower straight from Kawasaki! A supermoto would also be great to put the power down!

Because of your videos I am now going to buy a klx250 instead of the klx300 because I don’t want a stock klx. Right now klx 250s are way cheaper and I can get a 351 kit and it will still be cheaper than a klx 300 new.

That's gonna be one trick bike when it's done. I think I'm done modifying mine. Maybe I'll do a video on it showing everything I've done. It's definitely not as nice as yours. How are your tires holding up? I just broke 1k miles on mine, and my stock D605's are about ready to be replaced. Edit: and of course, congrats on the 1k subs bro. It's no surprise to me, though!

I'm hyped for it to be done! While it is cool to have a good looking bike, it just matters that you are having fun! My tires are on their way out. I would not expect getting anymore than 400 miles. I really appreciate that! Can't wait to see what the future holds!

Nice build bro! You really need the drc tail light kit. The yoshimura one sucks its cheap. Supermoto wheels are a must!!!! Will turn the klx into a whole new bike. Love being able to swap between the dirt and supermo wheels. I have 2 sport bikes also and spend most my time on the klx

Thank you very much! I am deciding between the DRC and the Yoshi. I have some research to do on that still. The KLX is just a great hooligan machine! It would shred corners with a supermoto setup. That will definitely come next seeing the demand for it and not to mention how much more traction it would have. I always ask people with the sumo setup what they did for the speedo. I've heard of people rigging up the speed sensor

@@jhmotorclub6916 Cant wait to see how ya like the supermoto wheels! I didnt bother with messing with the speedo. Too much bullshit I wouldnt bother. I have my phone on a ram mount on the handlebars and use a gps speedo app. Works great. Paid like 3 bucks for the app

Yessir! I've heard different things about the cams in general, but we got to find out! I think the head work will make a world of difference though

Been watching a bunch of your KLX videos from start to finish lately and I've looking forward to some wheelie tests on the 351 just to see the difference but i don't think there's a video on that? Is there one or did you lose interest? Also curious what the weight difference is with all the mods compared to stock. Otherwise awesome stuff man!

Thank you! I have not lost interest in wheelies, I just figured it might be boring for those to watch me while I'm still trying to learn since I made a bunch of trying to wheelie videos before. I've kind of started from the beginning trying to learn my rear brake skills because of the extra torque on the 351. I'll make another one soon so you all can see how I am trying to adapt to it

Have you considered, of relocating your front fender? Cause it acts like a sail, affecting MPG. how about a little experiment, run your bike without a fender, vs with a fender.

That's an interesting thought. When I get Supermoto wheels, I would get a supermoto fender. I have not thought of removing or relocating it though

What about converting to a pumper carb? Then you can fit the 4G fuel tank.

I know I have heard of people who converted from EFI to carbed, but I think the EFI can handle it. I guess it's always good to know that the option is there. A 4 gallon tank would help so much though!

I'm trying to get mine back together and I'm having a hard time getting my cam gears aligned. Have any tips? Wish I would've marked them.

Place the engine at top dead center. Then place the intake cam at the position where the "IN" mark is level with the cylinder head. Then, count 32 teeth out and place the "EX" mark of the exhaust cam on that pin. When the tensioners and cam cap are installed, the "IN" and "EX" marks should be level with the cylinder head with the motor at top dead center.

The highest I hit was an indicated 97 MPH, I believe. I will be doing another one after the mods though for sure!

I've heard of people converting their EFI bikes to carbed bikes. However, I think the EFI bike can work with it. I'll give it to you, though, the pumper carb bikes sure do shred!
