What did you do for stage 1? I’m about to rejet mine because it’s so poor on power. Did it work for you?

When he ported the head do you know if he just matched the port with your new throttle body and exhaust manifold, or did he do some deeper work smoothing down further in the port, polishing, etc. Do you think the wider throttle body or porting helped more to get you up to target hp?

I know this video is 3yr old but here goes. 2wheeldynoworks in Washington is where you want to have your ECU tuned(my fz09 is 120tire), air induction delete, led blinker flasher and reverse shift mod. I love my 2016 fz09, I've personally hit 162mph but that was under perfect conditions 150 is easy and she honestly loves 85-90 all day

No way am I changing my seat it's perfect, but I'm a bike rider and I'm use to tiny hard seats so a motorcycle seat feels like a couch to me. Plus I love the Kawasaki branding on it. Great video keep up the good work.

I bought a kl250 super Sherpa 2010. Carb, 6 speed. I have not been off road, only street. Great in town, errands. Keep my Harley for road trips, 2016 road king, 60,000 miles. Love them both

Hi bro love your vids. I know a guy in Thailand that makes kits for this bike. He's having 300cc 330cc 350cc big bore kits for this platform along with cams. I'm sure he can supply with a piston no problem. He's also having a stroker 402cc kit for this engine. all tested with 2 years warranty. Hit me up if your interested.

Good video, lots of useful information. i payed a premium for a gen 2, what i really wanted was a gen 1 because they seem more bullet proof and i just wanted to beat it up. Gen 2’s have been having a ton of problems. Also, interesting u got a bronco, im tryna line a bronco up for my wife haha. They look awesome

The KLX300r is a tractor and shines in slow technical trails, it’s definitely not over powerful. This I will say most riders on their modern MX bikes can’t ride them near the bike’s ability and will often put a novice on their ass. The KLX is much more forgiving and won’t surprise you. Not to mention, the KLX maintenance intervals means more time riding and less rebuilding. Overall for the price and being realistic with yourself about what you plan to do, it’s worth having around. Basically the perfect dad bike..

I own them both. 2021 KLX 300 DS and 2022 KLX 300 SM. I use them both as completely different tools. The SM is for when I do not plan to leave pavement at all. The DS is for when I do plan to leave pavement. Each one gets mods and accessories according to that use. I dont really "rip" on either of them.

Hands down the DRZ with the Showa suspension is the best. The suspension has fully adjustable compression and rebound damping including high and low speed compression on the rear shock. It is bulletproof and will average over 60 mpg on the highway.

If your running stock carburetor open up the air mixture screw, it was at the bottom of my carburetor! If your bike starts to run to hot close it little by little until the temp runs normal! The more you open the air mixture the better the top end power!

lol My old 1991 KLR 250 pulled the ton! 160 kph! With my ex on the back. Your running your bike to rich, and you've geared it for the bush. Put smallest cog possible on the back wheel and biggest cog possible on the gearbox if you want low RPM and good top speed on the highway!
