Super helpful. I was starting to question whether I’d have to take the hub off to pull the rotor. Thank you!

That hole in the Rotor is a bolt hole, think you use size 10mm x 1.25 and put it in and turn to pop rotor off.

There looks to be a bolt hole in the rotor. I know when I did Toyoto rotors I was able to put use the bolt hole to push the rotor off.

Super helpful! thanks for making the video! But I really wonder why didn't you change the rotors in the first place when you changed the pads. They really look horrible...

I'm a guy, and I can be very curious sometimes. I wanted to feel the difference between old destroyed rotors working against worn out pads vs new pads working against old destroyed rotors...I thought the experience was worth it.

Wondering the same. I always do both at the same time.

I suggest to use anti-seize lubricant like copper or aluminum paste instead of white lithium.

I suggest you shop for car parts on RockAuto. You can get a complete brake change kit for less than $100.

What happens if you don’t put it in maintenance mode

The pistons don't retract, so it will be difficult or impossible to have sufficient clearance for the thicker new pads. You "can" manually force the piston to retract, but don't do that, you risk damaging the rubber or worse the piston.
