My favorite color on the GT is Sunburst Yellow! For interior I'd pick whatever is lightest, I really like beige/ivory/light interiors.

The problem is that the dealers order "safe" color combos. Only rarely will they spec it in anything beyond white/black/silver paint. For whatever reason red has never been a great color on Mercedes but this looks pretty spiffy.

Agreed dealer inventory is usually vanilla. But at this price point, just order it custom. Much delayed gratification to be sure, but you'll be happier in the long run.

Yea your right; I order my GLC with Black, Brown Espresso, Burl walnut. It looks spectacular. Now they have saddle Brown. I’ll get that in the new GLE 63s if they have it in AMG cause Burl Walnut is getting rare. I’m a young buck and I like old school Luxuries.

When it cane to purchasing our rs7 there was a highly optioned black one for sale and a lower optioned ascari blue one. We chose the ascari blue and never regretted it, it pops and makes the car look 10x better. Colour makes all the difference

Seen this particular video a few times now since it was released almost a year and a half ago, and I absolutely agree that a car of this stature needs imagination when choosing a color, inside and out. My choice: blue magno (matte) with saddle brown interior.

I love this color combination. But I also think that a good sapphire blue color with either the interior shown here or a gray interior would be nice as well. Or to be simpler, swap the red of this car with a good british racing or deep jade green would look great to me.

I would love a metallic blue , with gray leather on the seats and black on the dash. Unfortunately I do not think amg makes a ash gray leather . Wish AMG was more bespoke with their materials.

The transmission is not the same - the gearing is different for the GTC/GTR vs the GT/GTS.

Offering two engines (or is it same engine configured differently) that provides similar performance for 99.5% of drivers makes no sense to me. Yet tire size/suspension are the same for both engines.

If I would could spec an AMG GTC Roadster I would spec mine in either Designo Diamond White Metallic or Iridium Silver Magno, with either the black forged cross spoke wheels or the the Titanium wheels and the Night package, as for the interior I would either go with either the black and red pepper interior or black.

I'd do silver exterior with black leather interior. But the red is great. Not a soft top guy so the coupe. IMO black on black on black is soooooooooooo over for me.

I’d have it with a saddle brown interior.. I REALLY wish Merc Artico non black colours were different. That light colour is just too ‘magnolia’ and the walnut/chocolate brown is just well ahem. Wrong!

Not a big fan of the green either. Also isn't it like a $10k option on that car? The red here looks delicious. I like the interior choice, and would also consider their brown interiors. Their Brilliant Blue exterior looks real good to my eye as well. I have to being a fan of your show for many years now, has reaffirmed my conviction about the whole black on black thing. It's overdone, unimaginative, hides the design elements, and on the inside is claustrophobic. This has unfortunately cost me an additional $15k when ordering my newest car, just to convince Audi to give me a different color leather and contrast stitching, so I guess thanks for that? :-)

Looks like the same color as my Mazda ;) ;) Nah but yeah. Problem I think is that black, silver, red and white - all of them will be "boring" or plain in someones eyes. I'd go with a color that I think fit the specific car. A car like the Kona I belive could rock some very special colors. The Merc though - not sure. It has a level of elegance that needs to be matched. Not as playful - more serious. Maybe some gray/antracit metallic - preferably one that shifts into the brownish spectrum. On a sidenote though - when is Mercedes gonna put a real turn signal lens in the rear view mirror instead of this? It litteraly looks like someone opened a vector software, put out some random gemoetric shape and twisted it all about a bit. "Oh it's banana shaped... Oh now it looks like a giraffe!! OH stop it there it is! The shape! The totally random shape that has nothing to to with anything els on the car! We'll use that!" :D It's been there since the old C class. Didn't fit the cars back then, doens't do it today.
