One thing that makes a big difference on the S550 is swapping out the regular 4 piston front brakes for the 6 piston Brembos, the initial bite of the Brembos is stronger and noticeable, combined with a high end pad it'll change the feel of the car. After driving several it makes me regret not getting the PP on mine.

Living in California, it’s extremely difficult to get good power gains with vehicles. I have one of the hardest cars to make fast, a 2V V8 Mustang, so I went with suspension mods for my car. I gotta say, the most noticeable mods are suspension mods, you’re absolutely right Blue Dude. I’ve owned my Mustang for 10 years, and because of how I have it set up, there aren’t many other cars I’d rather drive than my asthmatic little Mustang. The way it takes corners is awesome, and yeah it doesn’t have much power, but I put 4:10 gears on it which woke it up quite a bit. I love seeing and hearing about these kinds of builds, because it’s so obtainable for most people to do these mods to their cars.
@lollol-xp4mc5 жыл бұрын
410 gears is too much gear for tracl or canyons plus sucks on highway. But smart on you for not doing bolt ons and wasting money cause there is no power to be made with 4.6 2v. Good tires springs shocks camber plates and panhard bar needs subframe connectors makes it handle decently fun. Good bang for buck car overall
@Lincolnspeed5 жыл бұрын
lol lol, I actually love my 4:10 gears, but yeah I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who drives their car everyday. All those mods you listed I have except the panhard bar, but that’s definitely coming soon. You’re also absolutely right about the 2V being a great bang for the buck car. I’ve seen so many where I live for $2k-$3k for decent condition models. Way better than most cars in that price range

@@travisschott7637 its not that bad but they have been proven already to be pretty weak transmissions in comparison to chevys t56. There is literally no arguing against it. Well one reason, the M82 or Gregtec is German Engineered China made. The auto in the 2011 to 2013 is the same transmission as the Raptor , hence these are bullet proof. Almost did not buy the car be ause it was auto. It rips stop light to stop light, just put in drive, no paddle crap. On mountain roads its about pressure of the right foot. ethan3w Yea I was running the escort IX which wouldn’t shut up lol. I upgraded to the max 360c and it’s fairly quiet now. Mind you I did pay a hefty price for a radar detector but it does pay off in the end. I set my OSP to 15kmh just so it’s quiet and if I do go “over speed” then I’m not going to get nailed by a cop sitting by the road. In BC Canada if you go 30 kmh over your car gets impounded and you lose your license for up to 30 days.
