Overview, opinion, and analysis of the Nerf Mega Thunderhawk. This is a spring powered, clip-fed, “sniper rifle” that uses the new Mega Accustrike darts.
This is just a preview of the blaster I was able to film at the 2018 New York Toy Fair. This product has not yet been released. I will, of course, get a full review up when it is released and I’m able to acquire a sample!

Adam100A : If you can find a Buzz Bee Tyrant or Boss, grab it. They come with 12- and 3-dart Mega magazines, respectively.

I wonder why the mega accustrike darts dont have deeper indentations like the standard accustrikes Interesting choice to integrate the clip rather than having it be removable. I guess you wont drop it or loose it this way, but you cant have a second one just ready to go after your first one is spent

I know Hasbro has unofficially said that they will never go back to the magazines, but Buzz Bee did mega-sized mags and did them well. I'm not a big fan of the integrated clip, but I'll wait to see how it does before passing judgement.

You should try out X shot. It's a nerf ripoff that me and my family LOVE. They sell 6 loading pistols 3 loading mini pistols shotguns giant fly wheels and special darts compatible with nerf. They also sell bugs that stick to the wall that you can shoot (they don't work don't buy them) but they sell awesome cans that you can split apart for shooting purposes.

So, i love the way it LOOKS. but not with the barrel thing extended. Poor performance aside, the wonky loading is a dealbreaker for me. Especially when it actually has loads of space in it for an internal magazine. (or just a normal mag, loaded in the bottom)

So the extending barrel serves no purpose other than looking sort of cool and it uses a clip that is only compatible with the one blaster (that also will most likely be unavailable to purchase separately)..... did they learn nothing from the Centurion and the BattleScout?
