Great Video Brother, I appreciate you for taking the time to talk about your Armada. I've had 3 myself, and I've never had any problems with either of them. I'm very excited to be getting my 4th one which is a 2019 Armada SL 4×4 Black w/ the Grey Trim. It's still my Favorite Family SUV. Again, thank you, and have a Blessed Weekend........🙏🏾😷🤝🏾🇺🇸💪🏾

Nice home back there. And the Armada in my opinion is second only to the land cruiser but easier on your pocket when buying one.

Excellent tutorial! You covered about absolutely everything on this bad boy! I recently went from a suburban to a Armada. I love the armada and what it all has to offer. The only down fall is the gas mileage. Other than that, I love this SUV!

That's funny I have a Yukon for 5 years nothing but problems and I'm a mechanic can't get a few months without something new breaking. I'm looking at armada and qx80 now. It's sad because when the Yukon works it's such a good drive and I love how they look

We have a black Platinum (yes it gets super dirty super fast in the winter) and I think unless the Reserve is in Hermosa Blue it doesn't look so good BUT the Reserve's interior is stunning to me.

Super cute kid😊. Beautiful Armada, really like the mocha leather interior. These are rock solid and incredible value on the 2nd market.

Again i agree with you in terms of the styling and the chrome points you pointed out. However, when you start getting up into larger wheels. You start compromising your ride comfort. Larger tires rougher ride that's just standard across the board for any vehicle. So i think the tire size you have for your model is just fine. In fact i know on the Explorer many folks complain about the 20in tires on the Platinum model vs the 18 or 19in on the lower trims which give a smoother ride. Plus, your dealing with a "body on frame" truck with the Armada so bigger tires rougher ride for sure.

Great review. I am thinking between a 2018 Ford Explorer Platinum or a 2018 Nissan Armada Platinum. A couple of points, i prefer that they painted your alloy wheels silver. As i don't like the darker chrome on the Platinum Reserve so in my opinion you got lucky there. Also, i prefer just the opposite too you with regards to the styling. I like the front of the 2018 model but i DO NOT like how far the bumper sticks out in the rear. And i feel they should had made it more like the Patrol in that regard. Because of you see the two you'll notice the Patrol is FAR more squared off. And that fact alone may be the proverbial "deal breaker" for me in terms of choosing the Explorer over the Armada. Many car reviewers often talk about how far you have to "lean in" because of how far the rear sticks out.

Alhamdulillah in my experience owning nissan/infiniti, they are more reliable than the toyota/lexus. Especially when you take good care of your Nissan's vehicle with service routine with good oil, good spare parts and so on , in sya Allah they are more-more reliable. 🙂👍

My 2019 Armada SL has almost 62k miles. I like the ride and accessories. Hate the rear bumper . Before buying Armada I have had GMC Yukon for 3yrs as a leases vehicle. Styling wise I prefer the Yukon better.I had 62k on the Yukon when I returned it back to dealer. Armada is more expensive maintenance wise when compared to Yukon. My truck has the 22s and they always mid-aligned the wheels. Also had to change 4 batteries in 62k miles. There was a non recall that Nissan has not made public. My dealer fixed it and charged me $390 to fix it. I called Nissan and had a little fight. They re-embarrassed it back.Gas miles are very bad compared to the Yukon.But ride is smooth and powerful.

Across my days of research, the patrol seems to have the same abs tuning for off-roading as a pro 4x, acts like an electric front limited slip differential, and the patrol can come with a rear mechanical locker. Basically just better for off-roading and no auto leveling rear air suspension
@justinlovette1331 Жыл бұрын
Not to mention the bumpers on the patrol giving slightly better approach and departure angles off-road plus minor cosmetic differences but the Ti-L is like an SL here

The only other option, if you want a 8 cylinder to consume less, is the dreadful AFM or DFM fuel management system that can kill your engine. This engine should be reliable for a long time.

It's funny you talk about it being "smaller" in terms of driving feel. Because MANY folks and reviewers attribute it to driving like a bus. That isn't so much a problem for me. But i think your the only person who has made that comment about it driving smaller then it is. And parking being easier. The 2018 Ford Explorer is nearly 200in long which is a large SUV in it's own right. But the Armada is nearly a foot longer.

I have owned 2 Armadas; 2012 and now a 2018. The 2018 has 79,000 miles on it and in the past 7,000 miles it has required $2,000 in repairs that were fortunately covered under my extended warranty. In all, I have had $3,500 in repairs covered by extended warranty. My 2012 did much better. Sold that to a friend at 85,000 miles and he is still driving it at 135,000.

I'm a HUGE fan of Nissan's body on frame vehicles, however, I much preferred the pre-2016 Armada body styling. 4 things REALLY bother me with the Armada: 1). Those front fender vents are ugly AF (to me). 2). That plastic trim/molding around the exterior of the fender/wheel wells makes the vehicle look 'cheap'. Unless you're really diligent about dressing it, it'll fade after about 5 or so years and REALLY look bad. 3). At the Armada's price point, the interior colors are nowhere near as rich/sumptuous looking as Toyota/Lexus'. It's the colors, the quality of the materials, and intangibles. Just not befitting a $60 or $70,000 vehicle. 4). Toyota/Lexus SUV's at this price point offer things like multi-terrain select, locking differentials, downhill assist control, crawl control, etc. Being that the Patrol overseas offers these features, there is absolutely NO reason Nissan can't either offer these features as options and/or make a Pro-4x Armada for the booming off-road market. It does NOT matter at all whether 1% of these will ever venture off the pavement. What DOES matter, is that a segment of people are very willing to pay to appear that they do.
