Shop the new Nissan Rogue: cargur.us/lBxmq
Nissan sells more Rogue compact crossovers than any other vehicle it makes. For 2018, the Rogue maintains the cargo room, cabin comfort, and price point that have helped make it such a hit and adds a driver-assistance feature that would be less surprising on the features list for a luxury vehicle. The Rogue’s popularity makes it a great launching pad for Nissan’s new available ProPILOT Assist technology, which can help control speed and steering during single-lane highway driving and will eventually arrive in more Nissan vehicles.
All Rogues get a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder that produces 170 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque and mates with a continuously variable transmission, earning ratings of 26 mpg highway, 33 highway, 29 combined in front-wheel-drive versions and 25, 32, 28 with all-wheel drive. Our reviewer calls the drivetrain underpowered and rough, but finds the cabin comfortable, roomy, and well laid out, and he appreciates the Divide-N-Hide system’s flexibility for cargo.
