Mike has to be one the most sincere, humble and incredibly talented men in the world. He was and is one of my biggest guitar influences.

How has this video still not gotten 20 Likes in three and a half years? Pearl Jam wouldn't be who they are without Mike McCready, one of the greatest guitarists ever.

Nor would there be any Mad Season, as he was behind the birth of that band. He was in Temple of the Dog too.

Mike is an icon, in and of music past, present, and future. The video of him out in KZbin world playing Maggot Brain , dishing out one of the most incredible & greatest guitar solos ever played, I was lucky enough to experience that firsthand right before my eyes, at that show. It's a moment I will never forget, that night I fell in love with Mr. Michael McCready. Watching him play that and get lost inside of his own music was something of pure amazement!

I've had the pleasure of working with Mike a few times (including on this project) and he's a super-nice guy; very down to earth.

Seriously? Nobody's commented about this AMAZING MAN and HIS AMAZING GUITAR SKILLS??? Was never a Pearl Jam fan (seriously, I've tried, I just don't understand the appeal, I just don't like Eddie's voice) but I'm a HUGE Mike McCready/Mad Season fan. He just seems like such a great, solid, head-on-straight kind of guy. Seattle just seems to create great music, and great people too. May he be blessed!

I absolutely LOVE Mad Season as well! And I've seen Mike play live, and gained even more respect for the man. The talent is insane.

Similar for me. I LOVE Mike's style and emotion while playing but there's only a handful of PJ songs that I like.

Same. Love Mike as a player and while I do like a number of PJ songs I wouldn't consider myself a fan. But I could listen to Mike play all day.

At 22:00 Mike stops himself from talking about his anxiety with his condition as a thing of the past and instead decides (on camera) to acknowledge his vulnerability in the present day and I just think that was really cool of him to do that for other people who share his condition.
