A Porsche implies not only the retail price, but also the cost of repairs. Those are cars that need maintenance, think of it before buying one. They are expensive to keep.

With any genre of car enthusiast, there are two distinct categories: Those who have the car to cherish, preserve, and show off, versus those who have it to DRIVE IT. Those who drive only on weekends when weather is good, and those who see snow as an opportunity for shenanigans. Those who fuss over every ding or scratch or stain on the carpet, and those who see those as worthy battle scars. Those who's cars live in the garage only to emerge on special occasions, and those who say 'what's the point of having a car but not to drive it?'

Man, I love the style of RCR reviews. Start with a basic review of specs, driving clips and thoughts on the driving experience. Then, get into history and/or deeper philosophical thoughts on stereotypes or the driver/owner . Then, wrap the whole thing up with a nice, satisfying one-sentence summary. Then, listen to cool outro song. Love the You Are The Reason parody by the way, Roman.

@@MrSchn3ll I have seen the details to add it on rennlist. My prior 991.1 had it. The only reason I would consider it at this point is if I did an integrated radar detector. Maybe things are different in PA, but driving a $130,000 car in the snow around here in Tennessee is a sure fire way to have a bad time. Even if you know how to drive in the snow, nobody else does. So many wrecks, if we get a "substantial" snowfall of 2-3" around here, its automotive carnage. Drive 5 miles(if you can get that far) and I guarantee you'll see at least one accident, 2-3 cars in the ditch, cars abandoned at the bottom of hills, its complete madness.

Honestly if not for the price, It'd make a great Daily tbh. It's powerful but it doesn't burn through gas like uncle Bob through packs of cigarettes, it's suprisingly comfortable and with AWD and right tires it's also very capable in bad weather conditions. It has enough space for groceries, it's fairly reliable (for the type of vehicle it is) and if you want to, you can drive it like any regular car. It's only when you want something more exciting does the 911 show you how much it can do. Porsche perfected the formula of 911 and it is one of the best driver's cars in the world.
@garythecyclingnerd62195 жыл бұрын
@@edim108 Porsche regularly comes in the top 5 brands for reliability, sometimes only behind Lexus. They're incredibly reliable IF you actually do the maintenance and get your service intervals done. They won't run in spite of you like a 98 Carolla, but if you're buying a 911, the maintenance likely isn't a big hit
