Eddie now that you have basically the same truck as me, I want you to look into something I became curious about the other day. I wonder if there is a way to change your air/heat mode ( i.e. from floor to face to defrost & feet) without using the touch screen. Basically I was driving the other day and though "wow, if my touchscreen breaks then I'm just stuck on this blower mode....besides using the button for straight defrost. Hmmmmm

there was a limited but this looks just with coloring, the cheap version of a longhorn. and the leather isnt the same in these laramies as in the longhorns and limiteds. i have a 2017 limited and still smells somewhat new

I’m sure you’ve already done your homework on the lift, however be sure your concrete is thick enough before you buy it. I’ve got a Bendpak 2 poster 10k and I only get that funny feeling being underneath my 2500, nothing else. If there’s another lift in my future, I’d prob go the 12k. Food for thought.

Black oil in a diesel is 100% normal. Is not caused by egr or emissions components. A 2006 will also have black oil after a fresh oil change.

I think a dual exhaust out the sides, behind the tires would look good, yes it makes it a bit quieter but it looks cool on those newer trucks. I know a guy that has a newer ram and it looks good with the 5 inch tips

Terrible experience with my dealer! I have a 19’ 2500 with the cummins, took the truck to get its first oil change at 5,000 miles because I’m OCD and wanted to make sure there wasn’t any metal/contaminants in the oil. Long story short, in 19’ cummins switched to 10W30, well the dealer put 15W40 in it and it started to develop a ticking sound (No not the same sound as the CP4 failure). Took it back to the dealer, where is sat for 3 months for them to troubleshoot this sound. Turns out the oil was building up on the lifters, and they needed to be replaced. Just over 3 1/2 month total time in the shop I get the truck back. So after that’s all said and done, 2 months later I get this little lightbulb in my head... “I wonder if they services it with the correct oil this time?”.... call the dealer up, ask them if they are aware if they are using the incorrect oil..... AND what do ya know,.... they had no clue that they were servicing all the 19’ and newer incorrectly. So hear I am, with a truck that’s literally been stripped down put back together a few times, and it just hit 1 year old last weekend. I want to start doing the oil changes my self but heard rumor if something fails they could fault the damage to me changing my own oil.
