My guy. That you can self reflect and see your weaknesses is the first step. I didn't become a good father until my fourth kid had been born. I was there, I provided what was needed but I wasn't present. I now make up for it by being there with my kids, and learning from them. You'll be alright, just be kind to yourself, remember to take time for yourself and you'll be the best dad your kids have. And remember nobody is perfect G, don't let social media fool you in to thinking otherwise.

This gives me anxiety lol I replaced the fuel pump twice in my Z71. The second time I replaced it I tilted the bed up. I think it has 8 bolts. I took the front 6 bolts out and loosened the back 2 and left them in. Got underneath and pushed the bed up and used a 2x4 to hold it up. Then replaced it! Both ways sucked lol next time I think I’ll cut a hole in the bed lol

I remember doing it both ways too years back, & it sucks both ways (your right). They ALL should come from the factory with an access hatch ! Wouldn't that be nice or just by a Toyota 😄

On my gmc's, I found it easier to unbolt the bed and remove the bed with an engine hoist and leave the full fuel rank in place and swap out the fuel pump.

Usually it's a 3 years or 36 or so thousand mile warranty. The truck is 5 years old.

Holy cow! The sender fell apart? I have the same year and model truck with 180k on it and I run it every day on dirt roads and hauling heavy equipment. Just had to replace my thermostat. Other than that it has been fine. Toss the part. Although I can see you guys NEVER throw things away!

Kent, i do not recall where online i saw it, but there are factory bolt in tanks you can buy to take your capacity to around 80 gallons :) im going to do that when i get my rig, expensive?, yes but worth it i think on a longer trip or if you want to keep fuel around longer :)

I wouldn't doubt that the DEF additive had some kind of effect on that plastic case as DEF seems to be getting a bad rap/reputation for degradation on systems.

I have the same truck and year, you will soon have abs problems. Common in these trucks. From what I gather, it is tied to the hydraulic brake box.

@@SpeedBumpGarage I did watch a video on KZbin that says you can unplug your ABS plug by the hydraulic brake box, vacuum/blow it out, plug back in. Maybe add some dielectric grease? Worked for one guy, but I haven’t had the time to check to see if it works. That would make a great video!

I replaced pump twice on my 5500 both times 1/4 on tank after that I fueled up gauges worked up but.. she usually gives me 242 range when fueled. For some reason I fueled as usual to top her off and didn’t passed from 3/4. Already pulled again pump looked to see if anything was getting it stuck and nothing. Does anyone had this issue before?

Hmmmmm "if" you hve another failure. It is a Dodge...... know a few people who have constant problems with Dodge quality and dependability, and engines esp. But not with the Cummins.

If that's the exact same pump I'd be pinning the new one you can put it all together and it's going to fall apart again that's new trucks for you they're garbage I don't think they last made the good truck in 1980 81UPS and Chevy's are garbage should he transfer cases chains always breaking on them in the Chevys they all got independent suspension now which is garbage may give you a better ride but it's not that strong and you have more problems with it Worst thing they didn't trucks is they went to boxed frame instead of the old channel iron frame now the box frames rust out and trucks breaking half especially around the gas tanks
